My Sweet College

Our College is really a good one. Yes , it is correct even a 50% student can get addmission here vs an IIT. But I would say okay our college is a hospital that treats patients , make them well and professional and make their career brighter. But in IITs they just make the good better. This is good that our college is focusing on the rest of the students not into IITs. The college has lot of exposure.

The Course Curriculum is really appreciable and is with the latest Technologies. But I guess subjects like Environmental Studies , Chemistry and other Non - CSE subjects are unnecessary in the first year to include. Our Exam pattern : We have CA 's ( Continuous Assessment ) done before and after Mid-term. The marks of CA are also included in calculation of TGPA.

The placement and job opportunities are awesome here. As of 2nd year we are not allowed for in office internships. But from the end of 3rd year we can seat for internships and placements. Currently we can do virtual internships like i am also a virtual teaching assistant at Internshala Trainings for Android and Java.

I can say we celebrate almost all events and puja's too. Recently we had coke studio. We have events from Technical to Non-technical almost everything. In Technical events are conducted by GDG,DSC, Microsoft Technical Community and lot many more. We have non technical clubs too which conduct lot of events like DJ nights, Quiz etc

If I sum up my four years fee it is about 7 lakhs. I think which denotes a mid level fee. The Hostel Charge is reall high in my opinion. For a four seater AC i pay 60k per year. and the mess fee is Rs 32000 per year.

Yes , We have the LPU - NEST scholarship program. I also got a scholarship of Rs 30k for being in the top 30%. This also applies to the tution fees. College doesn't provide loan but they do help the students in getting loan , we do have a special loan department for the same. There is a 100% scholarship for sports merit based candidates too.

We have about more than 30 active clubs here. Which includes both Technical and Non Technical ones. Clubs like MSTC,DSC,GDG,Alexa,Learnovate,CyberHack etc.they conduct various workshops and also bring up guest lectures from industries. So , All these really help a student kick start his/her journey. In Sports our college is always active too. We have a large field which is open till 10PM.

Infrastructure : 7/10 Facilities : 5/10 We do have a RMS system , In which directly from our college mobile app we can complain regarding any issues like cleaning , maintainance etc can b resolved. They do respond back early and steps were taken.

The Seniors are not much that in touch. Since everyone is busy with their own work. But we do have lot of interaction when we attend events and workshops. Or work together while in a club. They are friendly not even to feel like they are senior. Helpful : 6/10

During my 12th class , at the end of month December , I had registered for LPU-Nest exam. The exam was then held online on a exam centre. In which i got 200 marks. I got sms and mail confirming about my results and was asked to deposit Rs 10000 as seat allocation. So , I deposited and choosen my favourite Computer science and engineering as course of study as my first priority. It got selected. I also got a scholarship of Rs 30000 along with a early decision benefit of Rs 10000 ( Given if registered earlier ).

Faculty are good. I will rate 5 out of 10. Some are extremely good and of high knowledge but most are poor in knowledge and experience. They really do mention to have 5-6 yrs of experience but actually they don't.
