Remarks
Overall the college is a good one. It has a very good library were almost all the books are available. College also allottes parking spaces for the vehicles of students. It also provide a canteen were good is served during the noon.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is good. But I think it needs to be updated some more. More practical learning system is to be introduced by avoiding unnecessary papers. Since it is a job oriented course, it would be good to have some skill development programs. The exam structure is not that good. Marks are awarded not for the points but for the size of answers. Even the one mark questions are need to be write about 4 sentences.
Placement Experience
Job market for Computer science students are good. They have a lot of opportunities. The college doesn't provide placement facilities. There are no internships as well. Internships should be provided and the stipend as well.
College Events
College celebrates every event in an amazing way. Onam, Christmas, etc and the other functions are being celebrated grandly. Also there are some days like the arts day for the students to perform there talents.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is not that much expensive. Fees are paid as the semesters. Those vary from course to course. For bsc computer science it's about 12500 per did months. The fees are comparatively less for the commerce students.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarships and grants are provided by the government for the students. There are several scholarships like the minority scholarships which helps the students to pay their fees. The amount of scholarship varies for each courses.
Campus Life
College has a cricket and a football team. College has a huge ground where students play during the evening time. Many students are participating in the athletes meets and wins the medals. College is full support for these athletes.
Alumni/Alumna
The senior students helps the juniors to get familiar with the college. They organises a Freshers day in which the talents of the newcomers are being found and they are made in touch with their seniors. Also there is music and dance on that program.
Admission
I got admission in this college through the online application portal for courses in Kannur University. After my 12th grade, i applied in the admission portal and selected the interested courses. According to my percentage in the previous course, i got admission.
Faculty
The college faculties are good. The College provides good classrooms with good furnitures. The computer lab is a bit outdated because it uses such low end systems which onlu work on the old windows xp. Other facilities are good.
