Remarks
They're many things I like and few things I dislike about my college. Positive ones are our supportive seniors , quality of education and extra curricular activities. Negative ones are too much pressure to maintain a minimum attendance.
Course Curriculum Overview
BCom is one of the core course my college offer and there is semester system for the exams under CBCS. And what is the meaning of writing every answer in 200 words when it can't be elaborated in more than 100 words.
Placement Experience
There is placement cell in the college which provides job opportunities for the final year students before the completion of their respective courses.Many big companies comes for recruitment of deserve students through interview.
College Events
There are many societies in the college which organise many events for the all round development of the students. Apart from them we also celebrate our famous college fest happens generally in February-March.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is of quarterly basis. And there is increase in fees amount every year by year. Fees is bit of expensive for a section of class. So in my consideration, it is bit of a costly college.
Fees and Financial Aid
I actually don't have any proper idea of scholarship process of our college. But our college do provide scholarship to students who can't afford college fees on merit base. The information regarding scholarship program can be availed in college website.
Campus Life
St. Xavier's College supports extensively extracurricular activities for the students who are interested. College has huge ground for the outdoor sports. It has gym and dance club for the interested students.
Alumni/Alumna
The college has big alumni who are now industrialist, businessman's, sports personality etc. The seniors are very helpful here. They do care for their juniors. Infact one of best thing I like about my college is our seniors.
Admission
After filling the admission form online they release merit list after a certain number of days. I got my name in the 1st merit list and then my interview was taken on a specified date. I passed my interview and got admission in this reputed college.
Faculty
St. Xavier's College is one the most reputed college in West Bengal as well as in India. It provides high quality education. Teachers are also nice and serious at their profession. But college authority charges very high fees which isn't affordable for all.
