Remarks

College overall is good but needs to improve a lot in the terms of its name since this college is struck in a controversy on unofficial land taken to build the college and there is no safety of fire till few years. But now the principal is working on this to develp the college and seeking all sorts of permission.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course in which i study being Information technology from Mumbai University is very well designed and gives all the basics to advance knowledge required by IT engineer. We are given a large insight to programming languages like C, Java, Python , Data Structures, Web programming etc. Also we are taught subjects of other branches like electronics like Logic Design, Embedded programming. Overall the syllabus is very well designed.

Placement Experience

2

Placement are not that upto the mark of our college. Our college has tie-up of intership with website internshala but however we are not informed regarding internships. We actually need to do internship in our vacation and if the internship exceeds the vacation period then we can do it college days but need to submit proper proof for what work we have done.

College Events

3.5

We have few calender events. The first one is the freshers party organized by students council(third year students) for the first year in which the second year have to pay money for the arrangement of this event. The next is the anual fest of our college been called Fusion and Tantra with Oscillation. The Fusion contains Sports and fun filled events and is within the hands of the third year student of any branch but this a major event of Computer Science people. The tantra is also in the handled also by third year student but it contains technical event and is a part of IT branch. Last but not the least is the Oscillation handled by Electronics department students

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees structure is feasible for most of us but tbe only problem is that most of the admission is through the caste system due to which people need to fill in a lot of forms and submit at correct time or else they need to pay the whole fees.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are is a scholarship scheme in college. We have 2 semister in a year. If a person scores 8.5 CGPA above then he gets 10 percent off on his tution fees. If a person scores 9 CGPA above then he gets 50 percent off on his tution fees. If a person scores 9.5 CGPA above then he gets 100 percent off on his tution fees.

Campus Life

4

SPORTS are not that good as we have can practice twice a week and only selected people are taken into the teams. A lot of the times partiality is there regarding selections and lot of the time selection are not being held and the teams are formed. The labs are decent on the other case as they are well maintained by the Lab Assistant ( we have close to 30 labs and there is at least one lab assistant per lab). There is not much to talk about extra curricular activities they are hardly any activities in the club's.

Alumni/Alumna

Not that good. We just only have one Alumni meat in a year where senior come to discuss about various things and an Alumni website wherein if anyone wants internship under our seniors can apply for it but no one knows about this.

Admission

I had first appeared for the test of JEE mains in 2015. I secured 61 marks in it. Then I appeared for MHCET(Maharastra State Common Enterance Test ) also in 2015 and secured 74 marks. But since i had written my 10th exams from other state(Hyderabad) and 12th exams from Mumbai. Hence, according to the rules for undergraduate education i fell in other than Maharashtra category in which my JEE marks were taken into consideration and was allocated a seat accordingly based on the merit list.

Faculty

3

The college faculty to be frank is really knowledgeable but they cannot deliver their 100 percent due to less aids of teaching and the restriction of the syllabus of the University of Mumbai. Some of the techers have an experience of over 18 years who actually deliver most of the knowledge but the ones who have joined recently just google the topics and dictate the same to us.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I have genuine interest in civil engineering. The faculty student ration is 1:50. Our faculties are well qualified they are master's degree holders in design and structural engineering. Some of them are PhD holders and many of them have done their master's from NIT and IIT. Term exams are scheduled after every 2 months. it is easy to pass because it consists of 30 marks only.
