College where I spent best days of my life

The class rooms need renovation. benchesand back boards should be changed because they were very old. Boys washroom used to be very dirty because daily cleaning were not done. Besides these the college is superb and full of enjoyment.

There are various courses offered by hislop college related to streams like arts ,science and commerce. The course and exam structure are according to Nagpur University rules and structure which is good. I took commerce so there was only one final exam at the end of the year.

I am not aware of placement opportunities in my college. I don't think there were any such facilities. There might be placement opportunities for courses in science field. No college does not provide internship.

One culture event used to happen every year where every student of college participates in dance,music,drama, etc. We used to have lot of fun in the event. There were also other events and competition which used to happen during the year.

Fee structure in not expensive. It is quite feasible. It usually depends upon course. And there were concessional fees for reserved category students. But the fees were not very expensive for other category students.

Scholarrship was provided upon clearing a competitive exam. I know one of my friend who got admission upon clearing the competitive exam. Loan was also provided to economically weaker class of students.

There was one science laboratory which was very good and equipped with various equipments. There was a sports department too. Football , cricket, hockey, volley ball, basketball and badminton were played in hislop. There was a good basketball court and separate grounds for cricket and football.

No I did not opted for such facilities. But some of my friends opted for hostel. And according to them hostel was quite good. Faculties were good and fees were reasonable. And hostel was not very far from college.

Senior students were quite helpful. I had many senior friends. We used to study and play together. I am not ware of Alumni network but there is one association of old boys who conduct various events for old boys of college.

I took admission after clearing my 12th. I went to college ,filled the admission form, submitted the form along with my 12th marksheet, 10th class marksheet, school and college leaving certificates and other Identity details. I paid the required fees afterwards. All these documents and process was done in one counter in the college which specifically meant for admission process. The staff were helpful and kind.

The faculties are very kind and helpful. Teaching style are very good and unique. Everyone possessed proper experience in their field. They make sure students understand the concept. And at the same time they were very cool and funny.
