Maharaja agrasen is above average

The negative is that the college lacks strict rules regarding attendance. Most students end up having less than 30% attendance. Also, extracurriculars should be promoted more. Everyone should be given chance to participate because mostly only those who know seniors will get a chance to participate.

The four years are divided into 8 semesters. Each semester has 2 internal theories and internal and external practices and one final exam. Credits are given for each exam. You should have 200 credits at end of the course to get a degree.

The college has a good placement record with around 80% of students getting placement. How most of the recruitment is done by mass recruiters like Infosys and Accenture. So the package remains low. The college doesn't provide internships.

The college celebrates events like Maharaja Agrasen Jayanti, Gandhi Jayanti swatch Bharat, annual day, Get together day for alumnus, independence day, republic day, and other days of national importance are celebrated.

The fee was around 1 lakh per year which was on par with government colleges and was cheaper than most private ones. So I would say college was not expensive and was feasible for the middle class not for the lower class.

The college doesn't provide any kind of scholarship to anyone since it is a private college. However, some reward is given to the toppers of college which cant be counted in scholarship. The college should have such facilities for the underprivileged.

The college has an annual day, college fest, sports meet. It has drama clubs, music clubs. The faculties however have zero say in these. So not well organized. The students are mostly the organizers. The labs of the college are well equipped. But the ground for sports is small.

No, the hostel has a capacity of only 200 so one cant get the hostel easily. The big negative of college. The hostel fees are also on the higher side. So the hostel is not much value for money plus there is no hostel for girls.

The network is good. The best thing is there is zero ragging. The seniors are friendly and don't behave like they are superiors which is quite good. So overall the environment is quite friendly. The alumni are very cooperative.

The college falls under Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. The university conducts CET test all over India and then admission is given based on that. The test is conducted in April may the result is declared and counseling is conducted in August and hence college and branches are allotted merit-wise.

The faculty of college cant be summed in one word. Some are so good that you want to study more and more from them while some are just average or below-average teachers. Some professors are just experts of the domain.
