One of the best Universities in West Bengal

Our college is quite good in all aspects except the hostels. There are many extracurricular activities in our college starting from our cultural fest which includes many dance and singing and talent show to tech fest where there is all kind of events from robots to programming to gaming.

The course curriculum is well defined and according to the rules and regulations of Indian standards for engineering. We have 2 semesters and per semester have Midterm and end-term examinations with internal and external assignments, vivas, and practicals.

Our college has decent placements especially for computer science students with almost 90% getting placed and some of them get into really good companies. Yes, our college does provide us with internships but I am not yet eligible for that. They provide internship opportunities for the ones going into 3rd year.

There are many events in our college. There is vivarta the tech fest happening annually. Then we got sahotsava our cultural fest then we have our sports events Rudra and all are quite amazing and we have many sessions and seminars frequently with many highly qualified persons as speakers.

The fee structure is a bit high in our college but it provides with centralized air-conditioning and good infrastructures so I think it is worth the price. It provides with clean and green environment and a really good cafeteria.

There are loan facilities in our college that includes interest-free college fee and we have a time period of one year after the course ends till we have to pay the total amount or else the interest rates will start getting to add.

Yes, I have opted for a hostel but the hostels are not good at all. They promise you way more than what you actually get. It is really hard especially for a vegetarian like me to survive in such hostels so I would give it 3/10.

The alumni of this college are good and they are achieving quite well in life. All are humble and really helpful and all have a strong unity and face all problems quite nicely. I know a few of them and all are quite amazing.

I studied for 2 years preparing for the entrance exam then I gave the West Bengal joint entrance exam (WBJEE) and secured a decent rank and then I got into the counseling sessions and got in this college.

Our college has many great faculties all have their Ph.D. done from great Universities and all quite knowledgeable. Most of them teach quite well and all of them are quite helpful with every problem we face.
