I gave AIEEE and scored 130+,which fetched me with 1lakh plus rank, but because of the state quota I got this particular college( orissa engineering college) which I also wanted as from the previous years it has got a record placement and it is also one of the best college of east zone as stated by ABP news.

As I am pursuing my course from mechanical engineering. The subjects which are been taught under my branch are intersecting one and they almost cover the vast course of mechanical engineering,subjects like automobile engineering,machine dynamics,refrigeration,design of machines,thermodynamics and etc. Are been taught. Regarding faculties they are well experienced and have immense knowledge regarding the subjects ( excluding few of them).

Recantly Tega industries will be coming for offering the internship. Companies usually don't come to the college,rather we take the permission from the college and fill the companies form which are offering internship based on the eligibility. Tega industries will be offering 7k and about the rest it depends on the eligibility. I pursued my internship from SAIL ranchi,they offered me 5k.

I won't say it's bad but rather it is also not that good, we can consider it average. From past few years it has declined a bit. Considering the present year,2 companies came on campus and 12 came off campus in between the month of September and October. Many more are still lined up to come. Zycus 3.2lak per annum( 5 placed)Tcs 3.3 lak per annum (189 placed),Mindtree 3.2 lak per annum (2 placed),Tech mahindra 3.1 lak per annum (4 placed),Prolificx- 2.6lak per annum (5 placed),Happiest mind -3.5 lak per annum ( 4 placed),Indian army (5 called for ssb),Tega industries 3.1 lak per annum Software solutions- 2.5 to 3.1lak per annum.

Our college every year conducts college fest which is of 4days named as ZAZEN N ZAPHYAR. On the first 2 days competition like debate,group discussion,extempre,singing and dancing followed by Robotics competition,under the robatics 6 events are held. For computer freaks competition like code breaking are been conducted,game zone consists of various PC games from NFS to IGI. Some refreshing events like treasure hunt is also been conducted. In next 2 days it's all cultural events are held like drama,dance,singing and etc. Ramp walk Last day is been known as the star nite where a Bollywood singer is been called for making the fest more entertaining. And letme remind you we have biggets auditorium in bhubaneswar. Soit's like a cherry on a cake. Our college also conducts every year a Quiz competition known as QUIZZOTICA havinga prize many in lakhs. It's been conducted in the mall which is one the biggest in bhubaneswar.

It is feasible as compared to the other private colleges of orrisa. Tution fee- 72400Transportation fee 15000 This is what I am paying. For the current students taking admission this year fee is. Tuition fee 85000,Transportation fee-15000 And the hostel is optional. Hostel fee 50000 (optional).

No such scholarships is been offered. And regarding the loans it will be better to contact with management. college doesn't provide any particular type of scholarships.

College life is asusual awesome. Having a sip in a cafeteria to the seat sharing in the class every bit of college campus is enjoyable and there is everyday something new to learn. There is no such discrimination of boys and girls we are students who are going to be the future engineerings and we behave so. calling upon the sex ratio as mechanical engineering is less opted by the girl students but still we have friends in different branch,we hang out during our lesiour period. campus is religion friendly. Students from every religion have there own identity and they are not been judged on the basis of the religion. Almost every month different types of workshops are been conducted followed by the seminars,they are not only related to the technology based but also from the social fields like red cross, bachpan etc. Blood donation campus are also been conducted every 6 months. Relating extracurricular activities college conducts MUN(model United nation) which gives a vast experience of knowledge and it's all about diplomacy which every students get opportunity.

Actually there is no hostel facility for the boys after 1st year. In case of girls hostel is For all 4 years. I with my 4 batch mates live in a 2 bhk flat.Rent 6700 per month,Electricity-500 per month,WiFi- 600 per month,Fooding-3000 per head per month. I

College seniors are very friendly in nature they guide us in proper path. And also inform us relating to the different companies. They also support us morally.

There is almost a gap of 6 months between the semesters in between them 2 internals are been conducted by the college. Followed by viva voce for the labs.
