My College

Our college has a very good learning and coding culture as compared to other colleges. The students are like the cream students which really is inspiring snd gives a motivation to study even more. But the negative of our college is that is wastes many Hours per week which can be utilised.

Course curriculum is not upto date. Many subjects curriculum teaches things are not useful in the industry.Exam structure is Ok but not innovative as the questions asked are not new and doesn't require much thinking.

Placements and Job opportunities are the best feature of our college. Our college invites companies on campus for both internship and Placements. Overall stipend of our college is around 40k. Many companies visit our college for placement which is the reason most of our college students gets placed nicely.

Many events takes place in our college throughout the year which makes the college life interesting. The main event us our annual cultural fest called Moksha. It is a 3 day fest comprising of many great events. A one week technology fest also takes place in the month of January.

The fees in our college is 1,50,000 and it increases by 10% every year. I think thst fees is expensive according to the facilities provided. Also the hostel fees is seperate from the college fees. Also as our college is a government college so it seems to be very expensive according to that.

Our college offers relaxation in the tuition fees which is about 80000. it is offered to about 5% of the toppers of the total students. Also our college helps to get a student loan from the SBI bank which we need to pay after completion of the college.

There are many extra curricular activities like Science lab, Research lab , gym, sports ,yoga , Dramatics, Dance Astronomy and many more for each of which we have a Society, of which we can be a part of if we are interested.

Alumni network of our college is really awesome. Our college alumnis are in almost each and every Giant technology company. Also very reputed world business schools hsve alumni from our college which is really helpful. So yes they are helpful to us whether it is about getting connected on LinkedIn or getting a job referral.

At first there was an entrance exam which take place every year in month of April.I started preparing for it during my 12th class. I got around 8500 rank in the exam and got this college after counseling.

Faculty is good in the college, but course structure seems to be a limitation in their teaching. Although the help us if we ask them apart from the course, but the problem is where do we get to know about the new topics required for the Industry.
