It isgood for a lower middle class student. If you want to avail facilities related to academics , you will find a way through the faculties. Any kind of mis behaviour can be reported to faculty and they will take action.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is a bit theoritical but they try to motivate you to do practical bon your own. Exams happens for every semester with 2 internal tests per semester. Internals weight 20 marks - 10 marks for each and semester exams weights 80.
Placement Experience
We have on campus placement activities. We also have a internship program where you can enroll from the official website itself every summer. Stipend is rs 2000/month. But it us quite difficult because students from all over India apply for internship.
College Events
There are alot of events celebrated in college like 1. Annual Technology Festival (Sankalp) 2. Annual cultural festival (Waves) 3. Annual sports day. 4. Cricket tournament 5.basketball tournament 6. Volleyball tournament
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure when i was a student was 1400000 per annum eith 30000 as hostel and mess fees per annum. It might have been changed now because college has got a autonomous Rating now. You can query with the college and get the fee structure.
Fees and Financial Aid
I availed a loan from bank of india because college does not provide any loan/scholarship for all the students. They provide scholarship for students of orissa. 10% students in each stream gets scholarship who is from orissa depending on economic background and merit
Campus Life
Labs are quite good and has many facilities and are open till 7 pm. Some labs are open till midnight. You can take permission and work in labs till late night if you wish to. Sports are also quite rated and has almost all the sports facilities.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel infrastructure is good for the nee hostel (HR-II). The old one (HR-I) is very bad. The food quality in mess is very bad. The food is not prepared in a good way. Tge menu us also not appropriate and the real food that is prepared is still worse.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes. They have alumini meet once in a year where they seek for help for the juniors. Sometimes they even arrange a alumini meet in the college premises and provide a plat6for the juniors to interact with the alumini
Admission
They take admission based on the AIEEE rank in rounds. In every round the cut off for the rank might go down depending on the number of seats left for addmission. Hence you can take part in each round and give your preference for stream
Faculty
Some faculties are very good and some are not that experienced in teaching. Some will focus on s oring marks in exams and some will try to focus on overall understanding of the subject and to explore beyond.
