Haryana common engineering entrance test (CEET). I wanted to be close to home and it was tought in university itself. So i chose it.

I passed out from gjuiet in 2006 after completing btech in ece. My batch was second batch of engineering as this course was pretty much newly introduced at that time. Course structure was good and was matching with other universities of haryana like ku and mdu. Faculty was good and was interested in teaching. But most of the staff was not much qualified . They were mostly btech degree holders from previous years from regional colleges.

It was just the second batch to pass out, so none of the companies came for campus recruitment. I got selected in infosys by outside campus recruitment.

No one was placed through campus as companies did not come at all. My rating based on my year of passing : 2/10.

Festivals at my time were mainly at university level only the other courses students would attend and no one from other colleges would come. My rating 5/10.

I did not avail loan so not much info.

Campus life was good. Students of all courses like b pharma, physiotherapy, mca,mba , mtech, mass communication used to interact and spend time together. Library is world class here atmosphere is generally good. People from all over india were there . Labs were poorly developed'competitions were raresports were quite a lotextracurricular -mediumtotal rating 6/10.

Hostels are very good neat & clean. It was on sharing basis with 3 girls in one room but rooms were pretty big. Hostel fee was not much. It was 12k for an year with mess billseparate. Mess was average and food quality was average too. Mess used to be ope
