Remarks

Apart from the mess a would give a for every other sections of the college you dont just go to study in NITK you go there to be an NITKIAN.

Entrance Preview

NIMCET AIR 102 Honestly the only reason i chose this college is because it has a private beach. Go to the roof of any building in the college and you could easily spot the sea shore get tired or bore at times just go to the ligh house and have your senses calmed down.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course curriculum is the same as you will get in any other top graded colleges in India every college does teach the same thing after all just the sequence of it changes for research purposes we have well equipped labs for all the necessary fields if you have an idea or an intent of conducting your research, get it presented in front of the department. If your thought is good enough the college supports you to complete the research and does accepts the thesis to add to our credit points.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, the college does provide internship opportunities for its students you can apply for it through the college Training & Placement Dept or if you have recieved an internship from outsourcing you just need to submit your offer letter to the dept and voila, you got yourself an authorised internship. The stipend range varies from company to company but expect the minimum to be 14K.

Placement Experience

5

The training & placement department is probably the most hardworking group of the college they make sure that the students gets exposed to maximum job opportunites as a result of which you can easily spot 200+ companies visiting the college campus during placement semester with packages ranging from 4LPA 60LPA they have given you knowledge, they have also given you the stage to perform and impress, rest all depends on you how well you perform.

College Events

5

Annual technical event organised in the month of October CRESSENDO: annual rehearsal cultural even organised in the month of feb march this event is organised mainly to set up the stage and mood for bigger better mega event incident which follows 2 weeks later INCIDENT: annual cultural fest organised 2 3 weeks after Cressendo, is the biggest event organised by the college we see a 4 day treat to the students with artists of various genres and classes having a performance during the fest.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is very feasible, they made sure that money should not be the problem for why you cannot receive a proper education if you have the knowledge and the ranks to back it up, then you can receive a better education as the the institute fees is a meagre amount and the institute also provides loan from reputed national banks at a minimal rate.

Fees and Financial Aid

All students who needs to be recognised are spotted during the course of time and rewarded with precious scholarships. Loan facilities as mentioned in earlier sections are available at minimal rates with ease there are branches of State Bank and Canara Bank inside the campus itself so it even saves you the trouble of going around the town every time you need to pay your fees.

Campus Life

4

Campus life is the best you can get gender ratio is fairly equal and approximately lies in the same ratio as that of the nation i.e. 10:7 Debate, Sports, Photography, Cultural, Dance, Music these are the basic living ingredients of the college you will find yourself treated with a musical extravaganza evening organised in the auditoriums every month and some events or the other belonging to various fields being organised every now and then. So many that you can only keep track of the ones you are interested in.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Hostel facilites are decent most of the rooms are double sharing and very spacious you probably wont need to stay out of campus, since they are more than enough rooms available to accommodate all the intakes you are provided with high speed internet in ev

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, the alumni network and the senior students are very helpful it is said that its the alumni that makes the college grow bigger and bigger, and true enough as in case of NIT you have alumni visits every now and then who and share their experience of the outside world with you and make you aware of the process of rest of the world that gives you a fair bit of idea what you might face when you step outside of student life.

Exam Structure

The most basic and effective exam structure possible have a mid sem mock exam, two internal assessments and a final semester exam grade the student based on cummulative aggre GATE of all the 4 exams this helps the students to get in touch with the subject

Faculty

4

To be brutaly honest, many of the professors in NIT are there because they stood second best when they applied in IIT so, a little disinterest in them is quite natural but, that does not mean they are not qualified enough or they don't guide you well in y

Placements in our college are average. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 2nd semester. Some companies visit the college and offer jobs in different roles. The average package is around 3-4 LPA and the highest package depends on the company. After completing my degree, I plan to get a good job and gain experience in my field

Placements are good...lot of my friends got placed. But it even depends on individual intrests. At starting you get paid less but later on experience u can earn more. In case if placement doesn't happen you will still have the chance to explore outside.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The MCA course curriculum is well structured, relevant, and comprehensive. It covers core computer science subjects such as programming, data structures, databases, software engineering, and practical lab work, which influenced my decision to choose this course. The curriculum provides a strong foundation for both real-world applications and further academic pursuits. With the support of good and experienced faculty, concepts are explained clearly through theory, practical sessions, assignments, and projects. Exams are conducted on a semester basis with internal assessments and end-semester examinations. The frequency and timing of exams are appropriate, and the difficulty level is moderate. Students who attend classes regularly and follow faculty guidance can perform well.
