The course curriculum is quite relevant and covers core concepts well,which influenced my decision to choose this course as it has a strong balance between theory and practical subjects. It provides a solid foundation for reai world applicationns and also prepares students well for higher studies through projects,labs and core courses Some subjects could be updated with more industry oriented content , hands on projects and interactive teaching methods. Exams are conducted regularly and are continuous,the difficulty level is moderate and tests both conceptuap understanding and application skills. exam time is also managable.

Placements at NITK are quite good ,especially for core branches and IT-related roles,with many reputed companies visiting the campus.The college also provides good exposure and support,making students well prepared for jobs,higher studies, or competitive exams after graduation. From 7th semester onwards students become eligible for campus placement. Top companies that visited NITK: Microsoft,Google,Amazon,Adobe,Goldman sachs,Uber,Oracle,Morgan stanley,Samsung R and D ,TCS,Infosys,Dell,bajaj auto,Reliance etc. overall 190-220+ companies visited campus . Highest : 54.75 LPA Average :18.26 LPA overall placement rate of all programs was around 87.22% in the 2023 cycle. BTech - 93% MTech - 83.05% MCA - 94.44% MBA - 72%

I am from general categary so i will explain about my fee sturcture first. overall campus life at NITK is very enriching and balanced . The social environment is vibrant with students from diverse backgrounds,and there are plenty of active clubs and technical,cultural and sports socities that allow students to explore their interests.The infrastructure is well developed , with good hodtels,academic buildings,sports facilities and open green spaces, which togather make life comfortable and engaging.

Hostels are decent and comfortable with basic furniture ike bed,study table ,chair,cupboard ,fan ,wifi ,water coolers and electricity are available throughout the day. The mess food is average in quality ,with a fixed weekly menu offering both south and north indian food.taste may vary sometimes.but it is managable and hygienic. Hostel and mess registration is done through an online / offline process at the start of the academic year or semester and affordable. some students stay in surathkal locality close to campus,the locality is generally safe and convenient for students.

This college is one of the top engineering college in india ,even top than many IITs etc. ,this college is at very decent nirf anking,naturally location is also very beautiful, the branch i wantes to take has nice average placement in this college, this college have its private beach. Other collleges are also good i filled my preference choices according to my rank i got this college . this college was at my second choice place and i got this in my last councelling round . I am so grateful to destiny and my hardwork ,support of parents and teachers. On my first preference order NIT Trichy was there as my branch has good past academics and placements. I got NITRourkela tilll 5th round of josaa . And in final round I got NITK and I locked it as i only wanted to take it. I got rejected by NITT becouse of may be my rank . as others were deserving that more than me. Admission in college is the last step to get into the college.these engineering colleges are taking admissions through the exam named JEE Mains and Advanced.The eligibility for this exam is the student who is studying in class 12th or till 2 yrs dropper can give exam with subjects taken PCM or PCMB in +1 /+2.they have to clear the CBT based exam and than cutoffs comes and colleges are taking students by councelling process. The JEE Mains exam is for 3 hours and Advanced is for 6 hours with parts of two 3-3 hours in paper-1 and 2 .Cutoffs for general in mains for year 2025 was 93 percentile .

Faculties anr very nice and kind by heart . i dont knoe the exact ratio and they are teaching very icely and as well as guiding in our life decesions. I liked professsor Hari Mahalingham sir he is such polite ,kind and a good motivator also and he is my deparment faculty advisor also. There are so many acaemic exams ,quizes ,labs and marathons. for mojor studies there are some courses ehich varries semesterwise firstly quizzes are held ,and at the middle oof the semester the midsem exam is conducted, and again some lab exams and quizes after that at the end of semester endsem exams are taken.The students which are not passed courses due to some reasons they are again given opportunity to write makeup exam ,so overall academics are fine.

Nightlife at NITK is clam,safe and mostly campus based rather than party oriented. Late night routine-students usually unwind by hanging out with friends in hostels,going for walks,beach visits at sunset and late night discussions and games. Facilities and timings-library usually open till late night (often 12 am ) Cafeterias and night canteens are open till arount 1=2 am. gym inside hostels are open 24 hrs. Hostel entry timings are regulated at night for juniors and seniors . Hanging out spots- Inside the campus night canteen,other small canteens sports court. outside campus Beach area ,nearby cafes .
