It's alright. I cannot say postive or negative because it depends on person to person. Considering, there a few branched the population of the college is a little less when compared to other NITs. There is only one girls hostel which accommodates all the girls here.

The course for B.Tech in Computer Science focused on subjects related to IT and CS applications. Programming is also a part of curriculum. The exams are carried out in 3 parts. There are two minors- Minor 1 and Minor 2. These roughly carry about 20% of total marks each. Then there is an end-semester exam carrying about 60% of total marks.

I have not yet gone through placement opportunity through my college. But I have participated in internship tests arranged via the placement cell of our college. Companies like Amazon, Goldman Sachs and Go-Jek have visited us. My overall experience was pretty good.

There is a student's forum firstly. AASF which is introduced the first to first year students. There are fests like Aurora and Infotsav, which attract a good crowd. Sports fest like Urja ( intra-college) and Twaran( Inter- IIIT) are also held here.

Fee Structure is pretty feasible as compared to some IITs and NITs. For the current semester the fees(INR) are as- Ug program: 84825 IPG: 84825 M.tech: 81250 Ph.D.: 48410 MBA: 99510 When I was admitted my fees was about 89600.

I actually received MCM scholarship offered by my college. It covers the tuition fee of the college. I roughly have to pay about 30000INR. College also supports other state or national scholarship offered.

The physics lab equipments are a bit old. But they do the work. Sports complex is really good. We have badminton courts, table tennis courts, squash rooms, volleyball court, football ground, lawn tennis court and basketball court.

Alumni Network is pretty good here. We have a Facebook group too where seniors and alumnis post out job or internship offers for the interested students and colleagues. Seniors too stay in touch after they graduate.

I got in through JEE ( Joint Entrance Exam). I secured an All India Rank of 8546 in JEE-Mains. Then I went through the college admission process through JOSAA. There were 7 rounds of college counseling. I had IIIT GWALIOR placed above other colleges in my list so I got the same college in every round and ended up here.

The faculties of the college are quite good. And some of them are supportive too. Classes usually are held on time and syllabus too gets completed on time. Academic calendar is also designed by the faculties.
