I got 521 GATE score in GATE exam in mechanical Engineering. I choose this college due to near my home town.

Course Curriculum Overview

This course have four semesters. First two semesters have class room programme. In class room programme, I studied ten subjects and six practicals. In last two semesters have practical, seminar and dissertation work.

Internships Opportunities

Companies visited campus for Internship are Texas Instruments, Freescale, Saint Gobain, L&T Construction, Zigsaw Consultancy. I have not any experience of internship from this college but got many chance for industrial visit for different companies. I have scored in GATE exam so I got till 2 years GATE scholarship 8000/- per month.

Fee Structure And Facilities

I have to pay 50000 Rs per semesters. In which, 30,000 Rs for academic programme.

No, I did not avail loan facility from college. I got GATE scholarship which is 8000 Rs per month till two years.

Exam Structure

In my department, exam have been scheduled for three times. First exam held in after 45 days of start of semesters. It have 20 marks. In 45 days again second exam held and it also have 20 marks. In next 45 days again final exam held which have 40 marks an

Faculty

In my department all faculty have good academic experience and industrial knowledge. There are 15 teachers in which, six are professors, four are associate professors, five are assistant professors and one is chair professors.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement for M.Tech students usually begins in the 3rd semester, allowing students to build their technical knowledge and complete relevant projects. The TPC is active and brings in a mix of core and IT giants and research-driven organizations. QUALCOMM, TEXAS INSTRUMENTS, MICROCHIP, Marvel, Intel, SAMSUNG, and AMAZON regularly visit the campus. The highest package will be 30 LPA, mid and avg are approximately the same, about 24 LPA, approximately 80% students get placed through campus drives, while others pursue Ph.D and research projects. Personally, after completing my degree, I aim to expand my embedded system knowledge to work in the semiconductor industry, while also keeping the option of pursuing doctoral research abroad if the right opportunity arises

An honest review about Fees, Curriculum, Placements and More

Placement Experience:

There were total 11 students in my batch of M.tech AR-VR. From 3rd semter everyone becomes eleigible for the placements. Almost each of the companies related to IT/CS/AI were allowed us to sit for the placements. Almost each of the students who were looking for placements got the opportunity either through campus or non-campus drive. One student got the PhD opportunity. Rest 10 students got some opportunity in different companies on roles like Softawre Development Engineer, Data Scientist, AI Research Engineer, GenAI Engineer, Research Associate etc.

Placement Experience:

In final year of the course, students become eligible for campus placement. Different different streams have there different placement data that is available on college website. The placement percentage is around 80% -90%. Around 10 minimum companies visited in one branch ( EE, ME, CE, CS..). The highest package is in computer science department around 65lpa.

Mnit jaipur is very good among other nit's, except some minor problems.

I had also applied to nit bhopal where i could get electrical but that was so old infrastructure and its location is also outskirts and choose mnit due to its location and social life and city . Mnit Jaipur top NIT ?

I applied to a few NITs and state colleges but chose MNIT Jaipur because it has better infrastructure, faculty, and placements compared to others. I got admission offers from MNIT Jaipur and one or two other NITs, but MNIT felt more promising for electrical engineering. I faced rejection from some colleges due to lower JEE Main rank. MNIT’s admission is mainly through JEE Main, which is the most preferred exam for most students here. The cutoff for electrical engineering is quite high, around 15000-25000 rank, depending on category. The admission process was straight forward register on JoSAA, choose preferences, and seat allotment happens based on rank. Overall, it was smooth and transparent.
