My college: The way I look at it

All can be said is management is okay but it can be good. Though there is a proper interaction between students and management but sometimes things go fizzy. Apart from this everything is fine. Its a good place to study. It's a very good place to make friends memories. If you work hard you will be placed in top most companies coming to college.

Course curriculum is purly based on the format of the university. In 4 years of the course we had 8 semesters and approx 16 internal written exams along with practicals in every semester. For first semester courses for all branches are same. After that depending upon the stream you are allocated to, different subjects are taught.

Placement mainly depends on intake by visiting company after having a hell round of assessment and interviews. In my case when I was selected I had to go though an aptitude and reasoning exam conducted for 30 minutes. Selected candidates were then called for another exam called essay writing. After that we had technical interview along with HR round.

As part of cultural activity there are many events organized by the college. Beginning with all the cultural program conducted on festive seasons. Also we have freshers day celebration for newly joined students. We have hostel nights for students staying in hostels. We have technical fest where my students from diffent college participates and we kind of have a competition among colleges. Then we have cultural fest as well organized every year consisting of cultural events.

At my time fee was quite feasible as we had only ?25k to ?30k per semester. Along with it if someone stays in hostel you have to pay accommodation as well as fooding bill. In short per semester including all studies accommodation and fooding it costs around ?60k so in total for 4 years your course gets completed in 5-6 lakhs.

I have no idea about it but as much as I know that there are few scholarships provided by the college and since it's one of the know college in locality, loan is quite easily available.

With respect to infrastructure perspective, every department hai it's own labs for different subjects taught. Labs are well equipped with machineries and kits which are very useful for practicals. Also there is a football ground, a basketball court, a volleyball court and a cricket ground in the college premises. With respect to extracurricular activities, there is a jamming room or recreation point Where one can use guitar drums etc etc.

Yes they are very helpful. Fir once you may be out of college but college will never be out of you. Every year we have an alumni meet conducted in college where a number of alumni join to make it a grand success.

Once I scored the rank in WBJEE, I was allotted to my college. Then I had to submit my certificates and documents for verification. After that once confirmation was done I was called for admission in the college.

Faculty is quite nice and helpful. Every department has a particular amount of faculty headed by the Head Of Department, along with senior faculty junior faculty and support staffs for practicals.
