Best College- The college of my dreams

Postive remarks only as I was a student for 5 years in the college. I made new friends. We all feel blessed to be a kelkarite. The college taught me many things, how to be motivated, imaginative & creative and I am grateful to be a kelkarite. I am a kelkarite forever.

The course curriculum is well designed and structured. The course needs more practical understanding of the subjects. Industrial visits conducted by college gave knowledge but more practical clarity is needed.

There are placements but not that much good as when i wa in college i didnt get any job or internship from placements cell. But there are many placements, some students had a great help because of the placements.

Dimensions- a event where all the students participate and extra curticular activities are carried out eg. Dj, stalls, canteen stalls, etc. Days- there are many days celebrated in December eg. Black and white day, magic day, traditional day, saree day, professional day, CA day, mismatch day, teddy day, chocolate day etc. Independence day events- carried out by the principal and students. Republic day parades- carried out by students. Plays- potrayed by students.

Feasible, even extra promotion is given to girls in our college. I remember, I had fee feasible and low as compared to boys in our college. Even thy had Non creamy layer facility because of which fees was refunded to us back after the completion of our final year.

Yes there is scholarship facility i our college. You need to take income certifiacte from the tahsildar and submit it in college. College then verifies the income certificate and if the income comes out to be below 100000 then scholarship is availed to the students. A special scholarship is allowed to female students for promoting education of a girl Child.

Best extra curricular activities- badminton, cricket, kabaddi, volley ball, basketball, tennis, carrom, etc all sports are performed and students are motivated to perform those extra curricular activities. Labs are really good. Many science students keep performing experiments.

There is no hostel for kelkar college. They donot allow any hostel facility. The people who want to take admission in college need to stay somewhere eg. Uncle's home or aunty' s home in mulund or any other place from where they can commute to college.

Alumni networks are good. I too am an alumni. Senior students helped me alot in my studies. There were many seniors who encouraged juniors by throwing a welcome party. We all had enjoyed the welcome party there they introduced to many other alumni who helped them with the work.

I got admission in offline merit list process after the third list process was over and i didnt had any college name. The admission was then done by putting % on board. Whomsoever had the % will be in the college.

The faculty in kelkar college is good. But more knowledgeable people are recommended as the lack of imagination power can make lack in students knowledge. Faculty are CA's and management professors. They teach really good.
