Remarks

It's a good but expensive college.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course Curriculum is not well. We have to study a lot of unnecessary subjects at first. Exam structure is not so good. The great MAKAUT University is creating new rules day by day. Sometimes they banned calculator for final exams. Sometimes we get admit card after practical exams.

Placement Experience

Placements & job opportunities are moderated. Our college doesn't provide any internship.

Our college celebrates all the possible events weather it is cultural or technical. Fews are- students fest, cultural fest, technical fest, technical exhibition, several seminars , sports, any pujas etc.

The fees structure is little expensive.

Extracurricular activities are quite good as our college provides for cricket, football, badminton, basketball etc. Labs are also good.

Seniors are great. They always stretch their helping hands whenever we need. They are very friendly and frank.

Admission

I got admission through my JEE main's rank. I gave my rank & other details to the counselling process. After third counseling I got selected for this college. Then I went to college campus for the said date for admission and after fulfilling all the details & giving required money I got admitted.

Faculty members of my college are very good. They are very frank. They are also student friendly and very helpful. They give us proper knowledge and supportive also. They always help in every manner.

Placement Experience:

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

It's my decision from class 12 that I will do civil engineering, so I chose the civil branch, the course curriculum is well and the teaching level is good but the main problem is lab, there is very limited classes for lab, so I think they should improve there.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
