college Review of Techno International Newtown

college campus is not so huge but it is well decorated. But the Lab facilities are not good. Most of the equipments are not working properly. And the hostels are also not in the college campus. Which is a problem for many students.

The course curriculum is good. But need to be more developed. Exam structure is not too good. Many new methods are tried but i don't think it's too effective. There are 2 semester in an calendar year.

Placements in the recent year is good. About 70% students from our department got placed in cognizent, TCS, and many others company also. Placements of total techno india group hold in same place. Many get jobs from of campusing also.

In the cultural point of view our college is great. They celebrate cultural fest, quize competition, science project and workshop, tech fest, tech sci- it is a technical and science quize competition. There are some clubs also like Mind Marathon for quize club etc.

The fees structure is little higher compare to the government engineering colleges. But it is ok. Lower middle class and financially poor families get education loan. There is a schem as calld TFW (tuition fee welfer). One can get this in basis of rank. Fees distribution are - 40k to 55k for the 8 semester in total around 400k

There are some good scholarship available for the students. On the merit besis one can get good amount of scholarship. Like SWAMIVIVEKANANDA MERIT CUM INN SCHOLARSHIP for the students who got 75% above in H. S examination. Loan facilities are also there

In the month of February we have out annual sports events. Cricket, Football, carram and many games are also there. And as extracurricular activities we perform drama , play song etc. Many cultural events also happens.

The alumnis are helping with us. We are connected through WhatsApp groups, college mail, and via Facebook. They give us important tips of exam and provide good knowledge of the industry and the job experience.

First I completed my class 12th exam and then appear for West Bengal joint entrance. Through the rank of the entrance exam i got admitted in the college. After getting the rank I went to the college for admission procedure. And got admitted.

Faculties are good overall. Some are excellent but some are notorious. But over all faculties are helpful. They are always with us apart some of those. Teachers are well educated and the way of delivery is also good.
