Remarks

Major remark is that our college is going to have its new building ready for inaugaration due to which there are more opportunities for the next year students to have better facilities. Various other facilities will be available by the end of January 2020.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course deals with various subjects like financial accounting, taxation, cost accounting, financial management,human resources management ,management accounting, marketing etc. Which makes a student face the practical situation in the market.

Placement Experience

Yes our college also provides internship and placements, but I have not participated yet. There are many companies that come to our college for placement and also for internships. Last year wipro came to our college.

There are many internship fair and college fest organised in our college like job and internship fair 2019, aaghaz 2019, freshers 2019, farewell 2019 etc. All the functions are organised by the respective department societies.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure of our college is very feasible as the library and other facilities like basketball, football,cricket and all indoor games are available in the college.

There are various labs available in our college and various sports played in our college ,also the library is available for students to read their books in spare time.

The senior students are quite helpful as we can ask for any help we want from them and also college is free of ragging, due to which no senior students can harm or misuse their power for ragging of junior students.

Admission

I got admitted in this college by registering at the website of du and when the Merit list came it showed that I am eligible for admission and then I visited the college and verified the documents after that admission fees is paid.

The overall teaching staff is very good and all classes are done on a regular basis. The teachers take classes regularly and all doubts are cleared in the class itself. If Any student has some problem then they can communicate it with the teachers without any hesitation.

Shyam lal college not on my wishlist

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Underrated College- An honest opinion

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.

I applied overall for all the colleges obviously on the first round I got shyama Prasad college for women and I didn't like it so in the 2nd round I got this college and I didn't go for 3rd round because I accidentally placed a not well reputed college above this so yeah I choose this one. Life in Zakir Hussain Delhi College (Evening)

*I applied for many colleges but got enrolled in Zakir Hussain because of distance from my home and also i research about infrastructure of this college it has vast facilities there. * No, I didn't get any rejection, i just wanted to do less travell. * At my time, i got admission through my merit percentage. for my course 92% required for morning and 85% for evening. i was eligible for eveing only. After getting admission, procedure was smooth, i just went to college and filled the form got help from seniors of my department, they were kind and helpfull in nature.Then along with admission form had to submit all the required documents- like your identity proof, all academic marksheets, fee reciept, category certificate(if applicable),migration certificate(if applicable).you need to sign all the documents and please carry all your original documents and copy as well.Your original documents will get submitted for verification and they returned it after some time,so dont worry about it....Read More
