College review

All colleges have both positive as well as negative sides. Positive side of this college is it's infrastructure. The college has been built on a hill. So it's full of greenery. Plantations are all maintained well. Speaking of negative side, the college fees is a bit expensive, and the placements for other departments (except CSE) is not lower.

Speaking of the computer science department, the curriculum is pretty good. As compared to other beaches of this college, computer science is the best. Exam structure includes three internal tests (valuated by internal lecturers) and an extremely final exam (valuated by external lecturers of other college).

Placements are good for computer science department. Other departments' placement opportunities are pretty low. Internship is provided by the college during final semester, but I'm not sure about the stipend provided.

* Our college conducts a fest called "Vibrations" every year during the odd semester. It includes all the various cultural activities and some celebrities are also invited. * During the even semester, a bigger fest called "Furore" is conducted. It's a three day fest with various cultural programmes as well as DJ night. * Apart from these, various inter departmental games like cricket, football, etc. are being conducted every year. * Also, department fests are celebrated in every department.

For a middle class family, I feel the free structure is a bit expensive. For students staying in girls hostel, the food does not match the expectations of the fees. Even boys hostel is a bit costly. NRI boys hostel is luxurious as well as expensive.

I have heard they give scholarship. I haven't known any details about it. The scholarship procedure is a bit lengthy but I have heard it's worth it. Many of my classmates have received the scholarship.

Labs are well maintained and equipped. There is a phonecall activity building where students can play indoor games like table tennis, carrom, etc. Also there is ground for cricket, basket ball court, squash court.

I stayed in Indian girls hostel for a year. The rooms are pretty spacious. Food is not that good. I felt it is more expensive to stay on the hostel. Also, they keep increasing the fees every year without providing any extra facilities.

Seniors are very friendly. Since the college has 0% ragging, all the seniors are close to us. They guide us during placements. They conduct various coaching for juniors to teach tending technologies in the industry.

I got this college through CET examination written doing my 12th standard. Based on the counseling results, I got this college according to my rank. Soon after the second round counseling, I came here for admission.

Computer science department has pretty experienced lecturers. I'm not telling all the lectures are perfect, but most of them have knowledge. Of course, the likes and disliked completely depend on the students though.
