Academically good but poor student recoginitions

The remarks are bad. The college need improvement in the facility and faculty point of view. The college is highly influenced by money.

Textile technologies are my branch. The teachers over here are not up to the mark as per the textiles industry. They teach the conventional method and not modern technology. We here don't have any laboratories with updated machines for textile. The machines over here for practical purposes either don't work or are rotten.

Textile technology is an industry-based profile. The companies prefer students from state colleges and don't prefer nitians. They say nitians don't deserve a greater package as we are not taught properly. Companies visited- Vardhman(3.2lpa), reliance (7lpa), Nahar(4lpa), Lnj Bhilwara( 3lpa), trident(9lpa). Other students just place themselves in some management or consultancy based profiles just because of this reason the college gets 100% placement record.

We have smaller fests like kai po che, Bharat dhwani, alumni meet, etc. Some.bigger fests include a technical fest called techniti and cultural fest called UTKANSH. The college provides negligible funds for these events. All they provide is funds for technical events.

It is feasible as I am a general category student. And it is a govt college. But they charge heavily on mess advances. They provide fee transparency but they still give no funds yo college clubs and societies and have a disgusting process of permissions etc.

No i have not opted for any scholarships or education loan. I am doing my btech completely by my fathers salary.

The college encorages student participation in curricular activities but does not provide funds. The campus life is not good as the timings for girls are just 7:30pm. Gender ration is highly unequal. It is like 1:8. The diversity is fine as a north india college attracts population.

Hostel facilities are the worst. The infrastructure is very old and they are not making any new infrastructure. They have accomodated almost 5000 girls in a single mess to eat. They dont provide night mess. The internet facilities remain absent for almost 6 months of an year.

Yes the seniors are very helpful as they know everything what is going on in this college.they have helped in every manner possible

Jee mains is an all India examination. It is conducted by Josaa. An all India rank was given and the college was provided on the basis of this rank. I chose this college because it was the only nit in north India left as per my rank which was 30,569.

There are almost 6 subjects per semester but the curriculum is not properly divided. The teachers dont have knowledge about the modern industry and they teach only the old books and their published works. The teachers of the textile dept are just interested in the theoretical knowledge and not the practical.
