Remarks
I have a mixed response for the college. One major can with the college is of it's fee structure and faculty only. Apart from that it's good. You will find people from various parts of the country as well as NRIs.
Course Curriculum Overview
The college is autonomous so the course curriculum ia updated but there is a con with the exam structure. There are three internals and all the three are compulsory. So it is very hectic for the students.
Placement Experience
The placement at dsce is above average. If you belong to CSE/ISE or ECE then let me tell you that about 80% of the students from these branches get placed. Although not all of them get high packages but still placement ia decent here. Speaking about internships, well you need to work hard for that.
College Events
So basically there are two major fests held by the college eveey year. One is the intra college fest Vibrations while the other is the inter college fest Furore. Both the fests are very dynamic and enjoying.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure depends if you are gone through COMEDK , management or kcet. For COMEDK and management it's not feasible for everyone. If you are admitted via kcet then it's quite cheap. Hostel fee is very high so I will suggest a PG.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are various scholarships but most of them remain for the Karnataka people. Apart from these the scholarships which are given by the central government are tgere so you can avail the scholarships if you are eligible.
Campus Life
The college makes sure that you don't get bored. So you have ample opportunities to excel in the field of sports here. The labs too are good here no issues regarding that just don't break something in the lab.
Alumni/Alumna
This is a ragging free campus and there is not even intro or something. Seniors are very helpful and supporting here. College also organises an alumni meet every year. Since the college is old therefore the alumni structure is good here.
Admission
There is an exam conducted to get admissions in colleges of Karnataka. I got this college by getting 4k rank in the COMED-K exam. If you are from karnataka there is a separate exam known as KCET. You can also get through management but it is costly.
Faculty
The faculty of the college is like every other college like some of them are very supportive while some of them are not upto the mark. So my suggestion is that don't depend completely on teachers.
