Remarks

This college sucks don't have enough experienced teachers don't have a good infrastructure labs are also so so no hostel facilities no canteen in the campus oh wait there is no campus at all just a building for 5 branches

Course Curriculum Overview

1.5

Course are good but not up to date there is no changes in the course fill the date institute open so overall it's good and the exam structure is also somewhat good there is a session exam a Viva and a external Viva then the semester exams

Placement Experience

2

Overall all placement is good if you know how to write a simple c program and have a little bit aptitude then you can easily get a placement of Max 3lpa there is 2 or 3 companies that cones to college Max time you have to go to another colleges for the placement

College Events

2

Events are just normal there are tech fest where you play games and win a prize money and after that there is culture fest where music dance and modelling etc are done there is a sports meet where you play TT badminton volleyball cricket etc and at the end of the year there is a annual dinner which suck too

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is like any other private college but the value of money is approximately zero don't have enough experienced staff no hostel facilities not a good infrastructure just a name that is it's a gov. College that's what it's value is

Fees and Financial Aid

I don't know much but I think that there is a scholarship for the students who scores more then 90 percent or the topper of the class I don't know about the loan facility though so I don't know much about it

Campus Life

2

There is a sports meet where you play cricket badminton table tennis volley ball basketball etc and there is a tech fest too where you participate and if you win you get the prized money and about the labs they are so so

Alumni/Alumna

Senior students are very helpful most of the time they tell us you make a very bad decision coming here just enjoy your four years do what you want college doesn't going to teach you anything so learn on your own

Admission

By giving entrance test then a marit list come after the test if your name is in the marit list then you attent the selection process fill all the documents that are needed and then they tell you the result after 3 or 4 day. If you got selected and told you to pay the fee

Faculty

1

Max faculty is guest faculty and they suck don't know what they are teaching don't have enough experience how to teach students just do paper reading and thats it and Max time there is no class so overall facility sucks

Placement Experience:

At NIT Hamirpur, students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester onwards, and the placement scenario has been quite encouraging in recent years. A wide range of companies such as Infosys, Wipro, L\&T, Capgemini, Tata Projects, and several core as well as IT firms visit the campus every year. The highest placement touched an impressive 2.05 crore offered to a mechanical engineering student, while the overall average package stands at around 10.5 LPA, which is a strong figure compared to many other NITs. The placement percentage remains high, with a majority of students securing offers, especially in branches like CSE, IT, and ECE, though core branches like civil and mechanical also receive good opportunities. The profiles offered include roles in software development, consulting, design, project engineering, and research. After completing my degree, I plan to take advantage of these placement opportunities to gain solid industry experience and later decide whether to pursue higher studies or competitive exams for broader career growth.
