Overrated - An Honest Review

Negative obviously. They advertises about their placements and all, they have good placements but I dont know where students will go off campussing if anyone doesn’t get on campus placement. Because the education here is not up to the mark. The director is, I don’t know how of a person, focuses just on how to ruin a college life of the students. Made a college completely a kindergarten school. If you see the rules, you will understand what I want to say here.

Syllabus is too old and outdated. Though some of the subjects are still wanted in the industry. Exams are held under the board. The College is under MAKAUT board. The College strictly follows board curriculum and exam instructions. There is said to be some Mid semester exams but they actually count the attendance and send internal marks accordingly. Finals full marks is 70 and other 30 is internal marks sent from College based on performance and most importantly how much a student can oil their respective class teacher.

There is no internship here. They sponsor NPTEL which has the shittiest teaching members there. The job placement is good to be honest. I dont know about the internal things that works behind this because I know many friends of mine which has very low education knowledge as well as industrial knowledge, got into finest companies. Don't ever think about their outside knowledge, they are my friends, I know them well.

Freshers welcome, technical event - innovacion, cultural event - iempact and Saraswati pujo. Freshers welcome was good at first. Atleast we had the best freshers party the College have ever thrown. But after that oh my god, I dont want to talk about that. But the rest of the events are pretty good. No complaints.

According to the faculties and campus, feasible for the indian students. But I could study in far better University in my country with less than my international student fee that I pay here.

Labs are pretty nice but the attendants are not. They actually brings out some M tech students from the college itself and appoint them as Lab assistants which people has barely any good knowledge about the lab. Lab in charge teachers are not very experienced. But the facilities they have, they could do better.

This College has the worst hostel facility in the history of mankind. You have to experience that on your own to understand that. The food is horrible, the maintainance is shit. The ambience, ugh, unhygienic and unhealthy. Students just get there because at first they have no where to go but after the 1 year clause made by the authorities, they flee as fast as they can.

I am an international student. I got into this college by my academic records checked and approved by College's Bangladesh office at Dhaka. I got the offer letter from there and applied for student visa.

The admission office said too many nice things at first before admission. They even compared with BUET of Bangladesh. And I cannot stop laughing now after seeing the faculty. There are very few number of experienced teachers are there. Rest of them is poorly qualified and have no teaching skills.
