Course Curriculum Overview

The autonomous status of the college permits it to frame the syllabus for various courses. I read it somewhere and the institute stands by this statement. The mode of teaching and the approach of the curriculum is innovative and somewhat orthodox.

College Events

Numerous events like annual day, sports day, numerous awareness programs like AIDS awareness program and many management symposiums are organized for the benefits of the students and society. The Red Cross Society also organizes some activities within our campus.

Fees and Financial Aid

Our institute does offer scholarships to the students belonging to backward communities, scheduled castes, or specifically the underprivileged students. Special preference is also given to the students belonging to the Christian minority.

Campus Life

We had a well trained college band, which performs on some special occasions. College Choir, Computer forum are some other college clubs which organises different activities throughout the year. Sports day celebration and other annual fests are also celebrated here. I most enjoyed the sweet melodies of college choir.

Admission

My admission was on a merit basis. They prepare a merit list on the basis of past academic record, specifically the graduation marks. Your individual performance in the psychology course is also given extra emphasis.

Our esteemed faculty was highly qualified. I pursued the Psychology program, which is pretty subjective course in itself, but the faculty did a remarkable job in bridging the gap between the theoretical learning and their practical implication.

excellent in acedimics

Course Curriculum Overview:

1.I was very much intrested to be a scientist when i choose biochemistry because its one of excellent bioscience subject to pursue the carrier as good scientist and complete the phd in bio science field 2.I would say for further acedmic carriculum like to pursue phd and to complete bioscience related competative examination will be clear by just following acedimics but am not saying it will prepare for you to a real world . 3.teaching methods is excellent as i mentioned earlier but problem is they only stick to acedmics apart from that they didnt prepare for real world problem job getting moto that is problem 4.exams level of difficulty is mediatory not high or not low as of my knowledge but other say it very difficult exams nobody able to score more than 70%.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Food and nutrition articles in newspaper made me to take this course. As it had full scope in that time. Actually curriculum is very poor in preparing us for real world application. Practical session must include more of industrial visits and projects related to industry. We had enough time to study .

My Experience: The good and the Bad

Course Curriculum Overview:

I liked this biotechnology course in degree(Bsc) and i wanted to continue this course with higher studies. Hence this university is reputed one in Karnataka.. i choose this one and I got the seat and I am very happy for this. The teaching methods are really good but it depends on particular lecturers, how they teach .. For main sem exam the time was around 3 hours for 70 marks and it was moderate and can be manageable

Our college provide very fantastic placements , in every year they invited two or three companies in our college to get placements us.In last semester the students are eligible for for campus placements.Shilpa biological industry, biocon industry both company are offered the placement in last year. they told they provide highest packages 800000 rupees per year and averages 400000 per year . In our department , 2 to 3 students are getting palcements. after i completed my degree , i want to research so i admitted in phd programmes.

The curriculum is fairly distributed among the 2 years. The first year broadly covers the course work, and learning of the laboratory techniques. Followed by a mini project and a major project under a professor of interest. Stem cell biology always intrigued me and this course offered exactly what I want. The curriculum focuses on training students very rigorously to make them fit for harsh conditions and situations in the real research world.

They provide good curriculum and better syllubus which covers most of the geology and oceanography topics especially physical and chemical oceanography, climatology, hydro geology and other topics but practically they seems little back they doesn't provide new instruments for surveying and oceanography they still following old techniques which is not relevantly used in this time

College life

I didn't apply for any other college because i always wanted to continue in the same place where i started my studies. So thats the reason i chose this college. I didn't get any rejections as i had got calls for other colleges but i didn't wanna go there so i continued where i wanted to continue. There is not long process when we joined we had go to college and fill forms and pay the first installment of fees if we wanted to pay. Now i think it is completely online based. Bestest college ever I studied
