Remarks

The management of the college is very systematic.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course curriculum is up to date. Now that the college has become autonomous it has revised the curriculum. The teachers are very qualified and it has a good crowd of students. The college organizes industrial visits as well. It has other occasions as well as language courses.

Placement Experience

4

The college starts providing summer placements in the second year. It has a dedicated placement cell which has a great hand on corporates around the country.

College Events

4.5

The colleges celebrate several events. It has a dedicated event of sports. It organizes cultural events annually and other competitions as well. The event is very diversified with lots of games as well and other activities like photography competition, debates, treasure hunt, business quiz, etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The program fee is very feasible. As the college become autonomous I don't have much idea about current fees. But when I did my B.com it charged me Rs 3000 per year. The fees can be paid in the college or by demand draft at the college. The college provides full transparency in fee breakdown.

Fees and Financial Aid

I did not apply for the scholarship but the college has some provisions. Also college awards scholarships to students with excellent academic performance at the end of the academic year.

Campus Life

4.5

It has a very old campus which is a state of art campus. The campus is very beautiful. It has a big ground for cricket and volleyball, it has a basketball court and an indoor badminton court. It has foreign exchange students and a balanced ratio of gender.

Alumni/Alumna

The college provides alumni networks they also come to the college for guest lectures. Senior students are also very helpful.

This college is a government college. It has a very good faculty. I filled its form after my 12th results. They release the merit list on the basis of the 12th percentage. The process starts from June 1st week and ends by June end. College starts from the 1st week of July.

Faculty

4.5

We had 5 subjects and each had 3 lectures per week. The teachers were highly qualified and detailed knowledge was provided. The college conducted many guest lectures to provide and insight into the subject as well as the corporate world. The lecturers had good industry experience.

Placement Experience:

At TCSC placements are quite good as anyone. Even the SOBO colleges and Mithibai don't have placements as good as us. So this is why I always dreamt of studying here because since last 6-7 years, Thakur College placements have gone better and higher.

The good thing is that the college was not strict and was never forcing us to study rather it was seeing to it that it gave us proper advice and help us reach more towards my career goal. The bad part would be there were may staff which was very dull and was not kind, and no importance was given to correct their behaviour although it was evident by all.
