Remarks

College management is good. There is a code of conduct that one needs to follow. Rules are strict and so the campus environment remains safe and good.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Talking about the civil course. It is not updated. Professors are experienced and most of them hold a PhD in their respective subjects. There is a minimum scope of research. Well, equipped labs and equipment are available to understand the concepts taught in theory lectures cleary.

Placement Experience

4

Placement is very good for CS, IT , EN, ECE branches. Core branches like civil, mechanical and electrical have a very few placements Most of the companies visiting the campus are mass recruiters.

College Events

5

Cultural festival - Pratishruti is said to be the largest cultural fest of central India. Renowned artists come to our college for performing. Many technical and cultural competitions are organized in pratishruti Each department conducts its own technical fest. Which includes multiple events in which one can participate.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is quite expensive as one has to pay whole year fees at the starting of the academic year. My program fee was around 1,25,000 for each year. Mode of payment is DD for the first year and online banking for later years. There are no additional fee charges except for the cultural and technical events.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, the college provides scholarships to toppers in each semester. There is a scholarship for economically backward classes ( EBC).

Campus Life

3

Campus life is awesome. There are many things to do . College has clubs like Music, Drama, Dance, literary , Roboitics. The college has a basketball court, volleyball court, football ground. There is a Ramdeobaba Temple inside the college campus. The gender ratio is good.

Alumni/Alumna

There is an alumni cell through which you can connect with alumni. Many alumni are there on high posts in a big organization. Many have their own startups.

Admission

The main reason for taking admission in this college was it is the best private college in Nagpur. I was interested in Civil and construction-related things so I opted for the civil branch. It is not too far from the city as compared to other colleges like YCCE and Raisoni. I took admission through management level rounds. Admissions are purely on the basis of merit.

Faculty

3

There are tentatively 40 lectures held for each subject in each semester. The average age of faculty might be 35 . Most of the faculty hold a PhD degree in their respective subjects. One good thing about the course is that you will have the same faculty for practical and theory lectures most of the time. Industry visit is organized in each semester.

I choose this course because I have genuine interest in civil engineering. The faculty student ration is 1:50. Our faculties are well qualified they are master's degree holders in design and structural engineering. Some of them are PhD holders and many of them have done their master's from NIT and IIT.
