The college focuses more on academics, and students hardly get time to do some extracurricular activities. There should be only two exams per semester, so that students get some extra time for themselves. Also admin should focus on hostel food, food is really bad and money spent on mess food seems worthless.

The curriculum is a bit old, There should be more subjects which are more relevant to engineering of this time, more industrial subjects. Administration should focus on labs, more focus on practical knowledge. In my college, there is provision of tree exams per semester two minors and one major exam.

Placements are really good. More than hundred companies visit our campus for placements. Almost 80% students get placement from core branches. yeah our college provides internship, but there is no provision for stipend.

mainly there are two mega event celebrated in my college namely Techniti- Technical fest and Utkansh- The cultural fest. Other than this There are some fests called "Bharat Dhwani", Athletic fest, Abhivyakti etc.

Fee structure is based on family income. There are three categories of family income below 1 lakh, between 1 to 5 lakh and above 5 lakh. As per new MHRD rule this fee structure is applicable from 2016. Apart from this all students have to pay hostel fee. I think fee is feasible, but surely mess fee is quite expensive.

College offers scholarship to meritorious students from deprived sections. The alumni cell also offer scholarship to topper of the class. Scholarship named Post matric scholarship or 'Ashirvad' , Dr pratap singh Memorial scholarship are the famous scholarships offered by the college. There is no provision of education loan offered by college authority.

There are well equipped Tennis court, badminton court, Gym Football ground etc. Labs are not good , they lack in infrastructure, apparatus doesn't work. However the situation is same same in almost all NITs. Campus provides a good atmosphere for sports. Teams of Cricket basketball, badminton, chess etc did well in last year Inter NIT Sports meet.

Yes i have opted for hostel. hostel infrastructure is good. The campus got three new hostels named 'Mega boys hostel', block A, B & C. Other than these , there are more than ten hostels in campus. However campus needs more hostel as the number of students are increasing every year.

There is an alumni cell named SARC NITJ. senior students were always helpful. But the alumni cell is not much accessible to each students, mainly students who are part of SARC are be in touch with seniors.

I got admission through JEE Mains. This exam was conducted by CBSE that time, nowadays this exam is conducted by National testing Agency. This exam is of 12th level. questions are from three subjects physics, chemistry and maths. Nowadays Exam is conducted in two phases, first in january and 2nd is in april.

Faculties are well qualified, some of them possess expertise in their field.the level of their knowledge and teaching style is good. However some of the teachers are really not good, they did not belong to here.
