Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Course curriculum was specifically customised for the students who respect English literature in its full entirety. It's my personal experience only. Humans perceive one single thing in a number of ways. But the course structure was pretty good in general.

Placement Experience

3

There are no placements in our college, because it is a degree college. Though several personality development programs are held in our institute in order to boost the confidence of students. Our college also have collaboration with some international universities and several NGOs which presents many opportunities for socialising.

Fee Structure And Facilities

My annual fee was 45,000 INR for two semesters and for two year program I paid 90K. Fee was a little on higher side but you will receive good value for money in the end. There are several fee relaxation programs for under privileged students.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship options are available for the students of christian minority. They are given preference in entrance, relaxation in the tuition fee, etc. Other than that, many other scholarship options are also available, which some of my friends availed.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni association of our college is called "The Agnesian Association" which meets annually to strengthen the bond between alumni and current students. The alumni offers their valuable insights to the current students. I interacted with some of them and discuss my career prospects.

Admission

Admission process is pretty straightforward. You have to apply directly at the college by filling out all the relevant details and wait for the merit list. My graduation marks were not that good, so I have to wait for the second merit list.

Faculty

4.5

Faculty was very talented and supportive. They were very insightful and possessed an ample amount of knowledge about the literature from different discipline and genre. We learned about progression of language in general.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester where you have to do an internship project for the semester based Most of the companies that visit are from the news organisations like Bangalore Times, The Hindu, Mint, Times of India, Deccan Herald and other companies like ITC also visit frequently. I am not quite sure about the packages offered.

Placement Experience:

By the end of the 2nd semester, we are constantly notified about any vacancies in any department. The college placement cell sends us notifications through our class monitors or sometimes throyoutlr HOD. Even after the end of our final semester exam, we are added in a group that is specially meant for job opportunities and placements, where they constantly update and notify us. Out of 32 students in our class, a total of 12 students got placement. As for me, my plan is to do PhD in the said field.

curriculum is extensive and large and some students find it hard to grasp all the knowledge given for the syllabus. it may seem daunting at first but i rather prefer this than having little to nothing to study as it helps me find new things to read which i would have never figured out before.
