Positives - the college location is extremely good as it is located near the airport you can find public transport from anywhere anytime. Negative - college is in the middle of housing society and its campus is nothing more than apartments.

The college is affiliated with maulana Abul kalam Azad university of technology formally known as West Bengal University of technology, hence course curriculum is mandated by the university only. You can see a detailed curriculum on the university website. Exams are also organized by the university.

Placements in current 2020 batches are really good for colleges of this caliber, almost all eligible students are placed, many students have more than one offers. Companies that visited on campus include Infosys, cognizant, Capgemini, sap labs, ey, Hitachi consulting, etc.

There are many different events that keep happening in college. The major ones include a technical fest named tech storm and a cultural fest named panache. Coding competition is also organized from time to time by computer society.

The fee is almost the same for all colleges afflicted to maulana Abul kalam Azad university of technology. The fee is charged semester-wise, in my case fee was 40000 per semester for the first year and increased by 1000 per year.

A tuition fee waiver is provided for west Bengal residents, you have to specify that during counseling. Education loans are not directly provided by college assisted banks but you have to talk to banks independently.

College doesn't have its own sports ground as the campus is very small, all departmental cricket match is organized at NKDA stadium nearby. Lab facilities for cse students are quite good but average for electrical students.

The college hostel is not on the campus as the campus is quite small. College hostel is for name only as the hostel is not owned by college rather college has given a contract to someone. Food quality is horrible, I don't recommend taking hostel.

The alumni association organizes different events like technical quizzes from time to time. Senior students are extremely helpful in all domains including academics, sports, music, etc. You can find many seniors ready to help you in coding also.

I got 6000 ranks in wbjee, got admission through wbjee counseling. Students are also admitted through jee the main rank. Forms for wbjee exam are generally available from Dec to January, exam pattern is similar to jee main on difficulty level. More weightage is given to mathematics as one paper in mathematics only and in the second paper there is physics and chemistry.

I have mixed feelings about faculties, some are really good and some don't know how to teach. Most of the time we studied through textbooks or through lectures available on the internet. Student-faculty interaction is good.
