One of the best management college under AKTU

Course curriculum was updated and curated as per the latest industry practices. Technology has changed the entire landscape of the corporate in past few years and which has prompted a demand for an updated curriculum. Curriculum of AKTU was really updated and it literally helped me match pace a rapid pace corporate environment. Course spanned over 2 years and it was divided in four semesters, with external exams being held at the end of the semester.

Placements are pretty great at our college. A number of companies visit our campus in order to recruit students for multiple profiles like a consultant, business development exec., taxation officer, team leader, etc. Students are offered dedicated training assistance in the form of mock GD, mock PI, presentation, etc. The packages offered are also pretty good. The average package was somewhere around 3 LPA. I myself secured a decent package during the placement drive.

Fee structure was pretty feasible for my MBA program. I paid a little less than 1 lac per year and the total course fee stood at 1.9 Lacs for the two year course. College is pretty flexible with fee structure and offers fee relaxation for the needy students.

Scholarship options are available for the needy students, i.e. students from financially challenged background. Eligible students have to present all the relevant documents at the time of admission. Additionally, students from a reserved category are offered relaxation in the fee structure.

All our seniors were very helpful and supportive. Especially, the seniors from hostel were like a second guardian for us. They helped us with exam notes and the guidance for the internship report. Alumni association of our college focus towards maintaining a close tie with the alumni. Alumni association also work towards improving the status of the college by bringing more placements.

Students have to download the application form and fill it with all the relevant academic details and your entrance exam scores. Our college usually accepts the UPSEE scores, but I applied with the my MAT scores which are also acceptable here. I attended the counseling process and presented all my academic documents.

I shared a pretty good bond with my faculty. They all were very accommodating and supportive. Overall the quality of teaching was pretty good. Student to teacher ratio was around 30:1, which was pretty good and allowed the professors to dedicate time individually to the students. The case study analysis was a fun way to learn things.
