Remarks
The administration is very strong, there is certain criteria regarding attendance is there which is quite strict. But they provide a very very good placement structure.
Course Curriculum Overview
The exam structure and the curriculum is according to the AICTE structure. The college just follows it.It is relevant to a certain point.No, it is not research-driven. Though coming from an ECE background, ultimately the students have to enter in IT industry. So, it does not have any specific role to make me a better professional. You work hard own to make yourself professional.
Placement Experience
The placement is very good. For CSE, ECE, IT stream it is almost 90-95% and for EE, AEIE and ME it is 80-85%. The college placement cell provides information regarding internships. I avail the eastern railway summer internship program.
College Events
1) ARCADIA- annual cultural fest( two days), the first day is for students' and the second is about a celebrity singer from Bollywood who comes in or college for performance. 2) TECH FEST-2 days( Technical fest) 3) Freshers' Welcome cultural program (1 day)
Fee Structure And Facilities
For middle-class family, the college fee structure is very good with respect to other colleges. There is also other facilities like half fees facility, TFW facility also present. It is not expensive at all. For handicapped candidates there are some extra facilities are also available.
Fees and Financial Aid
No, I do not opt any kind of educational loan or scholarship. But, from my friends, I am able to know that for the educational loan, you have to contact with the admin committee of the college.
Campus Life
Campus life is good.It completely depends on the person to maintain a good or bad profile. But the ambiance is really good to be a good knowledgeable person. Labs are up to date. The sports section is extremely good. There is a facility to play football, basketball, badminton, cricket. During college annual function, there is Robotics, debates and other competitions are also present. College authority try to main a good gender ratio and diversity. Anti Ragging committee is there to prevent any kind of violence. Unfortunately, extracurricular life is short.
Alumni/Alumna
Seniors are helpful in terms of giving notes and in academic help. They also help to gain practical knowledge during Tech Fest and during placement seasons. Unfortunately, there is no alumni network is in our college.
Admission
Through West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam Or Through JEE Main Exam, you get admission to enter in this college. Otherwise, you have to take entry through management quota by giving extra money. Management sits are reserved and very low in number. ECE is one of the always modifying domains, where you have the chance to work in IT and as well as in the core domain. This college is reputed, stands third in the probate engineering college list in west Bengal and nearer to my house.
Faculty
Most of the faculties in the ECE department are helpful. They are well behaved and helps a lot. They teach well and also help us in labs. The lectures all are M.Tech and some are PhD. They have specific knowledge in this domain and have industry knowledge and experience also.
