College is quite good apart from some complaints like a better infrastructure and better placements for the students. The teachers are quite helping and the student culture is also quite good. There is no ragging.

The course curriculum is followed as per the MAKAUT University, just as various other colleges follow in the state of WB. The course is sufficiently adequate in terms of gate syllabus coverage but isn't nowhere near the industry requirements. The level of exams are too low. If you're a hard-working student preparing for entrance exams you will definitely lose all your momentum as there will be no incentive to study for exams , cause the paper is 95% predictable

Placement and job opportunities are average as per West Bengal standards , i.e it's the same as the other private colleges in West Bengal and i guess the whole country. College does not provide any internship opportunities and the student will have to strive for it individually.

Tech fests , cultural fests , language fests among others. Tech fest attracts students from various colleges , more commonly the private colleges in West Bengal and the prize pool is quite sufficient. Cultural and language fests are quite good.

Fees structure is around 40-45k per semester and varies with your year and electives as well as your branch. Fees is quite feasible yet many scholarship opportunities are provided by state government.

Scholarship facilities are not provided by the institution itself , however it facilitates scholarship opportunities by the state government for weaker sections of the society. Educational loan can be applied for.

The lab conditions are excellent and working at all times.Apart from some broken equipment occassionally , there will be no complaints towards the lab facilities. There is no ground , however for any sports activities

I haven't opted for hostel facilities , however from what i have seen and gathered the hostel facilities are not that bad. The food however is terrible so you might have to think about it also infrastructure is well off

The alumni network is quite strong from the parts of institutions. Seniors are helpful and quite guiding. Being in touch and interacting with the alumni network will only help you in your college life

I gave the entrance exam of WB students known as WBJEE. Then youre supposed to fill out a list selecting your preference , then counselling occurs. From there you are called for confirming your seat in the institution and they give you a joining date.

The faculty is more commonly hired from colleges which fall under MAKAUT or the more prestigious college Jadavpur University of West Bengal. Both however do not follow the curriculum followed in Nit's and IIT's , so thier level of teaching is questionable at best. However their are certain teachers who are exceptional and out of the box thinkers , so try to find them and adhere to their teaching. Overall the level of teaching is adequate in the institution.
