Remarks
Overall it is a good place to develop and build your career. You can't enjoy to the most like other outside colleges.This is 12km away from the town. Bus facility is available and very helpful. About food you have to adjust a lot.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course are almost followed by the bput syllabus.Here we have two internal exams and a final written paper. Labs are conducted and every lab is evaluated. Final lab test is conducted after every experiment gets completed for the semister.
Placement Experience
Almost all the deserving students get placed. There was 48 companies visited our college last year. Students who are deserving get the job easily on campus.Sorry but I am not well aware of internship our college provide because I am in third semister and didn't started learning about interns.
College Events
There are two mega event celebrated in our college, Waves and Sankalp. Waves is kind of a annual function of our college. Sankalp is a mega event. A tech fest which is conducted for 2 days, with a lot of fun djnight many competitions and etc. Besides Al these Ganesh puja and many other functions are also celebrated here.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is feasible. For the batch 2018 the first autonomous batch of NIST the fees collected per year academic fees is 1.35lac per year. It is a less amount as compared to other autonomous colleges.
Fees and Financial Aid
Our college provide many such scholarship. We have scholarship for attending all the classes even for getting highest marks.beside all this we get permission for study loan and etc. I had applied for medhabruti and I got the scholarship. I don't have a sharp idea about scholarship and loan facility.
Campus Life
Labs are compulsory as they are included in our academic results. We did hav sports period in our second semister. Our college hav a Indore stadium a swimming pool ,we hav a basket ball court, a volley ball ground. There is a big playground also available where sports day and all are held.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes, most of the seniors are too good. There is no ragging in our college.Strict actions are taken for ragging and other unusual activities. Our seniors do help us whenever we need them ,they stay available to clear our doubts.
Admission
Completed my 12th in Dav public school Berhampur, wished to join engineering so gave the JEE mains exam, selected National Institute of Science and Technology as the first priority in the list. Then it was confirmed that I can take admission in the college. I had selected for computer science and engineering , and even confirmed the admission in this branch even.Then the admission process was followed by certificate verification and then joining.
Faculty
Faculty of our college are all good. They are of helping nature. No partiality till now I have observed.They are always there when we need to clear our doubts. We do have their phone numbers, we do contact them when ever necessary and also we get a quick response.
