Every thing is good in our college. Fee is little bit high.

AIEEE. I got 9700 rank in AIEEE. In my 1st counselling i got a seat in IIIT gwaliour and went for second counselling then i got admission BIT. Actually i want computer science but form my rank i didn't get it,so opted for IT.

NO. Our college will not provide internship. But they allows us to do internship in our final year. So we can do internship in companies or colleges during our 8th semester.

Placement Experience

80 to 90 % are placed in top companies. AMAZON 15 lpa, FLIPKSRT,15 plus lpa, DIRECTI 18lpa, SNAPDEAL 16lpa, ORACLE 10lpa, TATA STEEL 12lpa, THINK AND LEARN 8lpa, MICROSOFT 15lpa, SAMSUNG 10lpa, MUSIGMA 5lpa, INFOSYS 3lpa, IBM 3lpa, EXL 6lpa, L&T 8lpa, COUPONDUNIA 8lpa, GOLDMAN SACHS 15lpa Etc.

College Events

There are 3 main events celebrated in our college. First PANTHEON it will in the month of september it will for three days and three nights. Dance night fugia night. Second is SPORTS EVENT it will in the month of january. Athletics are conducted in this event.Third event is BITOTSAV,it is the biggest of all and will in the month of march and it will for 5 days consisting of band night,dance night,heritage night,celebrity night.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Free structure varies every year,it is very expensive for a middle class family.

Fees and Financial Aid

Merit scholarship are provided by college. Loan facility are also offered from various banks.I didn't take any loan but friends of mine has taken.

Campus Life

Campus life is very good. We will gets of free time. Gender ratio is normal. So many extracurricular activites are taken place. Labs are very good with advanced mechanism,lots of sports competitions are taken place,competitions for robotics and debates are taken place.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities are very good and consists of wifi,lan connection for every,hot water,one room for one student from second year,TV room,Indoor games etc. Food is good for north students but south students will face problems for adjusting.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

Senior students are very help in our studies and also in sports. We use play cricket with them they are very friendly and helpful our seniors are like friends even after passing out they are in contact with us and we are also doing the same with our juniors.

Exam Structure

In first year course curriculum will be hectic due to lot of subject but from second year after starting our main course the course curriculum will be less. In first they will cover all the subjects so it will be hectic.

from 7th semester onwards students become eligible for campus placement there are lot of companies who used to visit our campus like microsoft gives 15 to 20 offer, amazon guves 13 to 15 offer , accenture gives a lot of offer like 30 offer and many more in recent year placement 64 lpa is highest and average of 12.5 lpa they use to offer forSDE role in last year 93.14percentage of total student get placed my plan is to get a full time job as software developer

INSIGHTS OF BIT MESRA

Placement Experience:

From 7th sem onwards students are able to face placements. Comapnies such as ZS, Deloite AB in bev microsoft visa comes here and normally takes 1-3 students. The highest package may vary from 40-50 lakhs and average is 4-5 lakhs. Internships opportunities are quite low here. In chemical enginnering only till now out of 120 students 20-30 got placed including out of campus palcements. I am hoping to do mba after pursuing the degree as there is less comapny visit for core branches.

BIT : A Freshman's Perspective

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of our college is quite active and provides internship opportunities and pre-placement offers for students in their third and fourth years. It invites reputed companies like Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Accenture, IBM, Intel, Infosys, Cognizant, Deloitte, and many more. The average package is about 12LPA and highest package is about 52 LPA. Branches like CSE offer even higher, lucrative packges.

The placement of IIT dhanbad is very good and it offers a average package of 24lpa with highest package of 66lpa this year. Also every year more than 70% students get placed in our college. Specially the core companies shows a lot of interest in our college like coal india, sail, gail, petroleum industries companies, mining companies , etc Average package of cse here is 28lpa with 90% placement rate. Average of electrical is 23lpa with placement rate of 80%. Similarly, every branch average package lies between 18lpa to 24lpa.

The placement season starts during 7th semester when various companies come to camous to recruit students. Top companies such as google, amazon,microsoft, coal india, texas instumentation, ONGC etc visits the campus for recruirment. Around 60 -70 percent of the students get placed every year. The highest package from the camous was about 1cr . And the average package of the college was about 15-16 lakhs Apart from the capmus placement many students apply for off campus placement for which also tge college helps.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This college is an engineering college and I choose this college for a Btech degree in civil engineering. The teacher faculty is pretty well they teach us and do many practical labs. The student ratio in my class is 50:11 which means 50 boys and 11 girls in my branch. Mainly they all are DR they have dr degrees and they method is simply not like an extraordinary teacher. In my college teacher took all the exams at timely and it is not very difficult to pass

Overall Experience and all reality of Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi

I had NIT Raipur Chemical Engg, rejected it because I didn't like the campus amenities of the same, zero sports facilities, they play Football on a Red Soil literally. I got this in CSAB and hence it was a better ranked college than NITRR, i've heard of people opting a lower preferred branch in BITM over a branch in NITRR such the brand value of the college. I scored pretty avg in JEE 58k rank so wasn't eligible for all the clgs anyhow. Admission process is pretty simple JOSSA and CSAB. Admission experience is obviously good because why would a clg not welcome a laxmi lol jk....Read More
