Remarks

I just have the positive remarks on my college as we have almost everything that we need in this college and that too of a good quality. Everything is updated according to the need and time and there's no outdated stuff which is irrelevant to the current world. Faculty is good and helpful and so is the Principal. The other staff of the college is also very good and very helpful. In all it is pretty decent and quality College to choose as compared to many many colleges in my State.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

My college is tied up with the Mumbai University. Course curriculum and Exam structure is pretty much same for all of the Engineering Colleges in my state that are tied up with the Mumbai University. The course carriculum and the exam structure is decided by Mumbai University only and the all the colleges that are tied up with the Mumbai University have to follow that. The course carriculum is pretty much easy and sorted and properly divided in 8 semesters for the whole course which takes four years to completely. Each year consists of 2 semesters and each semesters has 4-5 subjects and it's examinations. I personally like the semester system which makes it easier for us to clear the course in a step by step manner. Exam structure is a part of this semester system. Each year has 2 semesters, each semester lasts for about 5 months and the last of every semester is the exams of that semester. Each semesters has 4-5 subjects and that's why there's 4-5 subject exams at the end of each semester. Exams lasts for a month, so there are big gaps between each exam which gives us time to study properly for each examination.

Placement Experience

4

My college does not provide internships. But it does provides the placements and job opportunities for all the students of all the courses. At the end of our course, there's placement program that my College provides. There are big and good companies that come every year for my college's placement program and almost all the students gets placed in this internship program. I haven't reached the placement level in my college yet, but I have known many seniors who got placed in this placement programs and the yearly packages that they got was a decent amount to start with. So the thing is, in my college or any other engineering college in my state, you would get placed in some company in the placement program of the college provided you are not performing constantly bad every semester.

College Events

5

There are many events that are celebrated in my college. The most important event in my college is the Technical Festival. This technical festival has a lot of events within itself and it lasts for a week. There are other events like most of the traditional festivals are celebrated in my college. There are also parties, food festivals and a big sports events celebrated in my college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is totally based on the reservation system which is based on the student's caste. So if you're from a caste that is reserved, then the fee structure is very feasible for you but if you're not from any caste or from a caste that's not reserved, then it will be a bit or could be more expensive for you.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is no scholarship or loan facility offered in my college as it is not a government college. It is a private college, and most of the private colleges in my area doesn't provide loans or scholarships. So if you need a loan or scholarships, you'll have to apply it privately from the sources out of this college.

Campus Life

4.5

The extracurricular activities again are good enough and there are many events as mentioned above. In my college there's also a Sports festival which lasts for many days as it's a big festival and it has many Events and many different indoor and outdoor sports for the students to participate according to their liking. The sports festival of this college is really good as the participation is full in all the events and we have big personal grounds to perform them. Lab activities are not that great but they're there and they're included in the Technical Festival of this college. In all my college has good extracurricular activities which are timely divided in the whole year, good enough to make the students go through the whole year.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

I haven't opted for hostel as I stay very nearby my college. But I still know people who live in the hostel and from them I have received good enough information about my college's hostel. The hostel of my college is not good, not bad but an average one. The food from my hostel food canteen which is provided for the hostel students is pretty much good as I've heard from the students that I know who reside in the hostel. But the rooms are not that good but they're still doable. Overall it's an average hostel and the accommodation capacity is very good as it's a big building and there are separate big buildings for boys and girls.

Alumni/Alumna

I know a lot a senior students from all the sections as I have a lot of friends everywhere. My observation about this is, senior students are of a great help only if you're friends with them or you know them. If you don't know them, then they're not much of a help, which is again the same case in every Engineering college as per my knowledge. So if you're friends with or atleast talk to the senior students, they can get you pretty much every kinds of help. It is just totally dependent upon how to socialize in the college.

Admission

I got selected in the second merit round to apply for admissions in my college. The merit rounds were based on and calculated on the basis of 12th percentage and CET examination scores. My 12th and CET scores got me selected to apply for Bharti Vidyapeeth College of Engineering in the second round of the merit list and after that I just had to submit my documents and the 10th, 12th and CET examination results in this college and pay the fees. That's how I got my admissions.

Faculty

3.5

College faculty in my college is of all kinds. I cannot rate the whole faculty as a whole because there are all kinds of people, some are too good some are good some are bad and some are very bad. But at the end of the day they all balance out each other which is again the same story in every Engineering college as per my knowledge. So if have to rate the whole faculty together I would call it a little bit above average which totally works out for the students because even if some of them are really bad at their job, they're still always ready to help.

The placements of MAIT are decent as compared to market conditions. But the data shown on website or availble at various platforms is not the reality. The mass chunk of students who get a job are placed under and around 6LPA package.

When it comes to curriculum everything us fine accept 1st year curriculum. My branch is ece in 1st year i have to study chemistry and physics which is no use for anybody in future it is just waste of time pretty outdated. For 2,3 and 4th year curriculum is far better than what it is in 1st year. Odd semester starts form August and after 2 month we have to give midsem exam.1 month after midsem we have to give endsem. There is very short time period between midsem and endsem examinations.Even semester starts form January everything is same as that of odd semester.

Placements are good in DTU. Usually a student is eligible to sit in placements from 4th year. Last year 325+ companies visited the campus like google, abode, Amazon, Microsoft, zomato, samsung, maruti suzuki, etc. They all have made 2050+ offers. The highest domestic package was offered by Atlanssian of 82.05LPA. The overall average package was 16.71LPA. The average package of my branch (Production and Industrial Engineering) was 12.34LPA. And in tech branches like CSE, IT it was around 24-25 LPA. Almost everyone is allowed to sit for placements. In PIE branch around 60-65% of student got placed in on campus.
