Remarks

The college has got no scope for on campus placements as it is a cause of concern for our college right now. But TPOs and our seniors are working on it and I hope this issue would soon be resolved and it would turn out to be the best college in North Bengal

Course Curriculum Overview

College follows MAKAUT curriculum. Now the curriculum has changed with new subjects being included in the latest syllabus. Fees structure for CSE/ECE:-?6000 per semester For EE/ME/CE:-?3000 per semester

Placement Experience

The college provides internship in the 3rd year of our engineering. But not sure regarding placements as it is a new college so student can hardly expect placements in this college. But they can get jobs through offcampus as most of my seniors got

College Events

The college organises various functions like Teacher's day, Freshers party, vishkarma Puja, Saraswati puja and many other. Also there is a fest which is conducted in the 1st week of April every year and it is one of the popular techfests of our college

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees in this college is quite feasible and affordable for poor students. Since the fees shows no hike as year goes that's the best part in our college CSE/ECE:-?6000 per semester EE/CE/ME:-?3000 per semester

Fees and Financial Aid

There are many scholarships available in our college.SVMCM, Oasis, NSP are various scholarship schemes available. Oasis scholarship is only for OBC, SC and ST candidates. Yes the students can easily apply for loan.

Campus Life

There are many extracurricular activities like cricket,football and volleyball. Most of the students dedicate their leisure time in playing indoor games like carrom and chess which are also present in the college hostel.

Yes the senior students and alumni of our college are very helpful and cooperative. They dedicate their time to help students out whenever he/she having any sort of doubt in their studies. Senior students always motivate their juniors in our college

I got admission in CSE department as my rank was pretty good. Therefore I took admission in this college and also I used to love coding from my school days. This made me opt for CSE over other departmenta

The qualities are quite educated and qualified enough to help students and bring deep interest in their subjects. Also lab assistants are also present to help out students for their practical whenever student requires any help

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
