Our college is autonomous, having 65 acor land. Have separate six engineering department. Have four boys and one girl hostel. Also have quaters for the professor. Have a big auditorium, five play ground.
Course Curriculum Overview
Our course curriculum is affiliated to AICTE. As our college is autonomous, so we have some special benifit. As our college established on 1961 so, the instrument of laboratory are not so proper, though some new instrument are available.
Placement Experience
Some companies come to our college like TCS, CTS, Wippro, Haldia Petrolium limited, Scope, Sapurjee etc. Last year thehighest package from our department is 13 lac per annum. Our college provides some internship, but not for all students. The internship stipend is near about 10000 per month.
College Events
Our college biggest technical fest is SRISTI, which is held in February. It continues for a week. There are many events like robotics, game etc. Thi biggest cultural festival of our college is JECLET which held at thetime of holli. Visakarma puja, saraswati puja, teachers day celebration are also the great occasion. In our college, organised many national level conference, national level Congress.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Total college fee for four yer is near about 37000 for ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING. Other hostel fee is required for hostelar students. This fee amount not required at one time. It is given to the college every yearwise.
Fees and Financial Aid
College offered full fee and half fee scholarship. There are also alumni scholarship, which offers by our alumni. Our college students can also apply for SVMCM scholarship, OASIS scholarship, National scholarship etc.
Campus Life
Our college have 17 club such dance club, drama club, sports club, coders club, are club, magazine's club etc. White very much beneficial for us. Our college also organized blood donation camp four times in each year.
Hostel Facilities
Yes, I am hostelar. Hostel fee are very low, but not so managed. Hostel are very dirty, have no regular clearance. Food quality is also not so well. In the hostel purefied water is available, computer lab, library, tanis board etc. are available.
Alumni/Alumna
Our alumni organized many programs for us, offers many internship, technical challenges, scholarship etc. They also organized many trips. they organized many conference for us. They are very helpful and careful about us.
Admission
Admission in our college is basis on wbjee rank. My wbjee rank was 4387 in year 2018 and I get the chance in electrical engineering department. There also required more than 60 marks in English in 10th standard examination.
Faculty
Our college faculty is very much good, Also the departmental faculty. Our professor are very helpful and careful about us. They are very knowledgeable. Most of professor are came from IIT with M. Tech and P. hd degree.
