Qualifications required to join in VIT

Positive remarks: Our college has a high technology equipments where we can learn many things. Every lecturer in our college is highly educated. Negative remarks: The construction of our college is not yet completed so there is more pollution around us.

It is a peaceful course. Everyday we learn something new about programming. The exams are held thrice during one semester. Our exams were conducted on digipads where we write exams on digital pads and are evaluated online.

Almost 80 percent of the students on VIT get placed and many of them get placed in MNC's like google, flipkart, infosys. During our bridge course one of the student of VIT who got placed in MNC gave a speech to us. He is placed for a package of 16 lakhs per annum.

Freshers day, festival celebrations are some of the events celebrated in our college and mainly VITOPIA which is held for about 2 days and our college invites some of the famous people like movie heroes or heroines to entertain students.

The fee structure for this course is low. It is divided into three categories. The students who fall under 1st category can pay a fee of 98000, 2nd category can pay a fee of 158000, and 3rd category can pay a fee of 198000. For the residential students the college costs 35000 for the bus fees.

The government of AP provides a loan for students. Our college entertains this loan and some of the students in our college have availed this loan. The students who availed this loan starts repaying this in the form of EMI when they got a job after their graduation.

Our college provides several clubs for the students to join which carries a credit for our course and is compulsory for the students to join in any of the available clubs. There is gender bias in our college. Every student is treated equally.

There is no ragging or bullying in our college. The seniors in our college helps us in knowing about the courses we don't know. We also play together during our free time. We alse together complete a course called softskills.

I joined in this course because i can complete my Bachelor's and Master's in a span of 5 years and also the tution fee for this course is less than the normal B. Tech course fee. I got an admission in this college on the criteria of merit list based on 12th standard marks or CGPA. Students should submit their 12th results via post to the main VIT campus on the allotted date. After a month they sort the students according to their 12th marks and release ranks to the students. They had allotted a total of 3 categories based on ranks during admission with separate tution fees. There are a total of 270 seats in this course. 90 seats for 1st category, 90 seats for 2nd category and 90 seats for 3rd category. The students who fall under 1st category can pay a fee of 98000, 2nd category can pay a fee of 158000, and 3rd category can pay a fee of 198000.

The faculty in our college are highly educated and almost all lecturers gained their doctorate's. They play an important role in our courses especially programming course. They give us high knowledge about the subject.
