I had given WBJEE, nd got the rank 7985. My elder bro, studied here, nd he waz placed in INFOSYS. Datz y mom told me to join this college nd so i m here.

Course Curriculum Overview

Everything is just awsomee, The curriculum, is totally based on WBUT, because it comes under WBUT. nd teacher's r good too.

Placement Experience

Placement is very good recently passout batch, the scenario was: 245/360 meanz, 245 were placed, from 360.THE COMPANIES WERE CTS, TCS, INFOSYS, TECH MAHINDRA, LINTECH ELECTRICS, ND SOME OTHER REGIONAL COMPANIES.

I think, students from west bengal, knows this better,coz the techno management festival, RESONANCE, is d biggest evnt, for WBUT. nd we alsoo have, a cultural fest, SPANDAN, which is also a big one.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Hostel are provided, with a nominal rate of 1500, for three months, nd mess charges, 1800/month.as we all know, dat, we juzz hate, mess foood.here, the quantity is high, but quality is nt soo gooodd..

Campus Life

Boys to girls ratio, almost 60-40.

Alumni: one of the student, well i exactly dnt know, about which year, is a junior scientist after meeting him, we came to know abt the, way, how to becomee a successful engineer.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
