Our college is an A grade college and one of the Best College for commerce field in North Karnataka. Every college has one or the other negative and also positive points. Our college don't have a very good placement facilities but is very good in all other sectors like sports, academics and much more.

B. com gives an foundation for professional courses like CA, CWA, ICWA, CMA etc. In our college they held two internal exams, one of 30 marks and one of 80 marks before the final semester exam. Our University conducts semester exams of six months each which is of 80 marks each and the remaining 20 marks we get from our college which consists of assignment marks, attendence and co- circular activities marks and also the average of our internals. Sometimes the exams gives us a hectic day otherwise the college hours are according to our comfort that is from 11am to 4:30 pm.

The placement and job opportunities that our college gives is quiet good. Many bank companies come every year to our college and recruit students from our college. The recruitment is done based on their overall marks of all the six semesters. State Bank of India, Axsis bank, HDFC bank and many others have been to our college for the placement and jobs. Our college don't provide any internship facility but it does support the students if they are doing any internships outside of campus.

Every year there is inter college fest held at the beginning of the year where is we there are programs and competitions related to cultural and management events. In this fest there are all kinds of competitions like dance, singing, skit plays and fashion show in cultural events and in management we have debate, quiz, best manager, pick and speak, allocation and many more. We also have National Level Paper Presentation every year where in number of students in group and also individually take part from all over our state. At the end of the year we have our college annual gathering and Days Of Our College where in the students enjoy a lot.

The fee structure of college is same to all the students except the the students who come from other cities. We have different fee structure for different year students. 1st year students pay 18000. 2nd year students pay 17000 and 3rd year students pay 16000. This fees includes our tuition fees, cultural fees, lab exam fees, college exam fees, administration fees, lecturers fees, infrastructure fees, library fees, marks card fees, canteen fees, and miscellaneous fees.

My college avails many scholarships to the students who cannot afford to pay and to the students who score good marks in the final exams. As per my knowledge I just know about two scholarships as I apply to that scholarships every year. It is an cast scholarship which is given by the government on the basis of students cast. The another scholarship is given to the top 10 students who score very well in academics. This scholarship is given by the college to those students who apply for this scholarship at the start of the year and it is availed to them only if the students perform well in their academics at the end of the year. There are other scholarship which are given to the students who are in sports.

There is a lot of importance given to extra curricular activities given in our college. there Is a lot of encouragement and support given to female students of our college in case of sports. We have teams of boys and girls separately for sports like football, throwball, basketball, chess, carrom, badminton, table tennis. We also cultural teams every year for dance, singing, fashion shows and other fest events.

The seniors of our college are very helpful and interactive with their juniors. They are like our second teachers who are not strict. They give us a great guidance in the matter of exams, studies and events that are held outside college. They encourage fresher's to take part in college events help them.

My college is a part of Karnataka Law Society Institution. I'm an ex student of K. L. S high school and an ex student of Gogte PUC college. Due to this reason I the admission procedure for me was very simple. My overall percentage in 10th and 12th was 77% and 80% and hence I got an merit list entry to this college. I simply had to fill the form and attach all the necessary documents to the form n submit it to the respective office staff. They gave me a bank challan so that I could could pay the fees in bank and then submit the college copy of challan to the college. I want to do a professional course namely CMA ( cost and management accounting) this is the reason why I took up this course as it will be a support for my professional course.

The college faculty is fabulous. The teachers of our college are strict in case of attendance and assignments. They are very supportive in case of other activities that we perform apart from academics. Every teacher at our college is well qualified as a lecturer for this course. They, very well clear every doubt regarding the subjects a student has.
