In the beginning of vary first year, you must have to done your daily task given by the profesor. Which includes manily your basic mathematics, basic physics, basic electrical, and one coding subject which mainly Basic C, with strict Lab rules comes. You must have to done one practical Lab every day in the 2nd half most probably. Through my opinion when you are in first year try to maximize your marks as much as possible because all subjects are mostly related to the 11th and 12th curriculum. In the 2nd year(Sophomore) you are shifted into your branch, in the every one year you have to face two semesters which held between 1st week of December and 2nd of May and also 4 internals and many assignment regarding your department. These things are same upto 3rd year of year college life and also you have attended different seminars, activities, debate competition, cultural fest, tech fest, sports and many more. In the beginning of last year, most awaited session are started, and i am talking about Placements all the students are sit for different companies all the company's have different eligibility criteriae mentioned by Training and placements cells of the college. Placements and job are totally depends on you, college is only the medium to grab a job. Most of the company are related to the IT Sector. If you're from CSE or IT branch then 80% chance of placed within 6 months of your 4th year. Most of the company came from Kolkata and they are the mainly start-up and also some good company cames like NRI, Sears Holding, Promact, Capgemini, cognizant, Wipro, Mindtree and Tata AIG. But the salary offered by the most of the company is between 3 to 5 lpa. Also college will provide some good internship in third or fourth year most of the stipend vary from 15k to 20k mer months. As we all know that TCS and Infosys are conducting national levels exam like TCS NQT and Infosys tech challenge hiring respectively so they are not coming to any Colleges.

There are one technical fest and one cultural fest i. e utopia and Pragati respectively, which is held every year in January. And also some department wise events hosted by the students and they are Brain rush, Infotechnia which is hosted by CSE and IT department respectively. Within this fresher welcome i. e Balaka. In pragati fest is the major tech fest between all College students can participate and win exciting prizes in pragati Robotics is the main part of the fest and some logo design website development.

In the time of admission you have to deposit 10k as a security money. Apart from this 40k as a semester fees and also library fee which is 5k per semester. Which means 40k in first year. And then 41k, 42k, 43k in 2nd year, 3rd year, 4th year respectively, in Btech but in Mtech fee structure is little bit high which is 45k, 46k, 47k per in 1st year, 2nd year and last year. You have to submit two times in one year with two installments 1st one is Mid of January and last one is 1st week of July. Which is almost around 5 lacs within 4 years you have to paid before leave the college.

Gender ratio in CSE, IT and ECE are nearly about 50:50, but in Mechanical and electrical is 80:20 i. e B:G. There are one common room, one cantain and one basketball ground no gym at all. Lots of politics is there between bengali and Biharies students. If you are Bengali guy then probably get more attraction towards teacher's and this also applicable for Bengalis girls students. Economic status matters a lots in this college.

Yes, Alumni network is very strong in your college because i am working as a part time in your college for build alumni relations throughout the globe. And also i have connected most of the seniors through regular basis and many of them they are started their start-up. And also if they require any candidate for internship or job they will reach you via College.

At first you have to fill up the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEE) online form. Which comes between mid of September of every year. After that you will receive your admit card regarding your exam, mostly happened between 1st week of February. On the basis of your final scores in the exam you have to choose your College from the various list of colleges these are government, private any many reputed College, all of the college's belong to West Bengal State mostly via online mode. Within one week of your colleg allocated you must have to report in reporting center after that you have to go your allocated College and take your admission in a specific time format given at reporting center that's it, you done your admission. In the 1st year Basic science department are very strict in my college you must have to done your daily work and show to the next day these things are also applicable in Basic lab department of our college.
