College review

Our college is very supportive as the faculty here are very supportive as they want us to gain knowledge and stay positive but the cons of our college are slow working nature due to government sector and less development in the past years.

Our course structure is nice with great subjects to develop core part of knowledge in a student. According to research this course is only a basic part but one have to go for higher education to gain advanced knowledge of researching. Some semesters are hectic but also give nice practical experience. Exams are little more hectic as no holiday is provided for preparation.

Placements here have very nice trends. Here 95% of the eligible students get placed every year. We also get internship here in the sixth semester for the whole semester. Stipend too is very nice as average is about 15000 per month. Here an internship of 16 weeks is mandatory.

We celebrate PECFEST which is the largest gathering cultural and technical fest in North India. We also participate in extracurricular activities organised by Technical and cultural societies like ASME, SAE, DRAMS, MUSIC CLUB, etc.

The fee structure here consists of tuition fees and the fees for infrastructure which is very feasible for a person as other colleges are very expensive. But the hostel fees here is very expensive according to the quality of the infrastructure and life there.

Our college have many scholarship programs such as scholarship given to toppers, for girls and for economical weeker section. Some alumni also give scholarship to the students who are poor. Scholarship are also given to the minority communities.

Our college have very well prepared labs in fact a new setup of machines has been installed. Students also work in many technical societies like SAE, ASME, SME, ROBOTICS, IEEE, etc. Many workshops are also organised by the college on many topics like industrial week which helps the students to reduce the gap between what they learn and on what they have to apply it. Gender ratio (Female:male) is very low.

Hostel here aren't very neat but a student can live a very nice life here because of responsive faculty in charge there. Hostel's room price according to me should be 30000 per year which is 60000 now.

Alumni are very helpful and they have a very astonished network. Our college seniors are very polite and helping and want to help without any discrimination. Alumni also help the students by giving them dircections on what should we do after graduation.

My college opens seats according to ranks of students basis on the limit of seats. The criteria for admission is based on JEE MAINS. First of all I had to fill a JOSSA form for my consideration and I filled the details of which branch I wanted in which college. I wanted to get mechanical related branch in which the core part covers the machines, management and designing. Other courses don't offer this kind of knowledge which includes designing and study of forces and machines.

Faculty here are underqualified as I have seen and they even don't know how to communicate properly. Some don't speak clearly and some don't have proper knowledge about the subjects they teach. But some faculty are interested to teach students and use facts and proper examples to teach.
