College Review

I think my college is best in terms of the quality of education they provide. Also we have a central library in our college which has numerous facilities. In terms of infrastructure also,it is best in Orissa and it seems like it is very close to nature. Last but not the least,my college has a temple that is very nice.

Course curriculum is generally normal I can say but the schedule for the classes is quite long and it is also a hectic day for us and also we need to go to labs and need to perform the experiments and need to show it to the professors and at last professors will verify the results and then only we left for the day.

The placements are very good as MNC companies like TCS, Tech Mahindra,Infosys,Wipro and many more companies visits our college. when I was in college,I got placed in TCS and it was my first company I interviewed for and in the first attempt itself,I got selected.

Our college every Year organises Techfest and many students use to participate in it and also they get the awards based on their performance. Also cultural programmes are also being held every year in which dance,songs, drama,events related to sports are also being organised and some celebrities also used to visit our college.

I think the fee is feasible and middle class students can afford it. Also the hostel charges are also very less. We need to pay sometimes late fine if we used to pay the fee quite late. Our college also provide loan facility if someone want to take ,they can take it and the interests are also not that much high.

Our college is anti ragging college and there is no ragging at all. Extracurricular activities like sports , cultural events, workshop etc are organised in our college. The culture of the college are quite diverse as students came from different states and also from different countries. The behaviour of the students are also friendly and they are helpful to each other.

I opted for hostels and the hostels are good for girls as our hostels provide 2 sharing room and it is easy for us to live in a two sharing. The hostels charges are 40,000 per year including food and other facilities. The bathroom are attached to the room so that we don't need to face so many problems.

Alumni used to visit our college frequently and they will help us to preparing for placements and jobs. They share their experiences of the college and it was quite interactive session for all of us as we get a chance to learn the new things and it was really a good thing for our career point of view.

I gave the Orissa JEE exam and I got 827 rank overall in India. I want to take the ECE branch and based on my rank I went for counselling and I chose my college as the first preference because my college mostly focus on studies and my college is in a remote area and the place is wonderful for students as the professors are highly qualified and they will help you to learn easily.

Teachers are highly qualified and they are very down to earth also. Whenever we face any doubt ,we go to the teacher and they will help us to clear the doubts. In our colleges,extra classes are also being arranged for the students who has any doubts or queries.
