Remarks
Our college has good infrastructure and i my opinion is that college should placements to civil and mechanical engineering and also internship facilities. Though faculty members are good they should be more thought in depth while teaching.
Course Curriculum Overview
Our college curriculum is purely based on course outcomes. A schedule is given for every semester and subjects are thought according to it. Each semester has 2 mid exams and one final sem exam. Since our college is autonomous , semester exam papers are evaluated by Kakatiya University faculty members. In my course I had been given enough knowledge. Definitely exams and labs leaves you chilled
Placement Experience
Placements are more for branches like cse,ece,eee,it. But for civil and mech there are no placements for core companies. They may provide opportunities for students other than core companies to civil and mech branches. Our college will not give any internship facility but they guide us how to do it. I did my 3 internships in govt projects.
College Events
Our college has 2 big events, one is technical where every branch will actively participate in that and organises events technically. Other is cultural where many events will be organised like music, dance ,arts, fashion show etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee is free if we get EAMCET rank below 10,000 but some what expensive for poor people and also middle class for eamect rank greater than 10,000. At present the fee is 1,20,000 for btech it may increase if any changes are done
Fees and Financial Aid
our college gives rembursment facility and scholarship. I will get scholarship of 3k per year. We can also have educational loan through bank for fee. Really i don't know exact loan opportunities given by the college because i didn't tried any time.
Campus Life
There are many extra curricular activities in our college like clubs , in every year students will be thought with a particular personality development course, there is a gym in our college, a big ground to play cricket etc many workshops will be organised in every year. Labs will be same as other colleges but they has updated instruments
Hostel Facilities
No am day scholar but my friends have opted for hostel who are non local. They say that hostel facilities are good with security care especially for girls. You can go through college website and checkout some pictures of hostels.
Alumni/Alumna
In our college there is no dominating attitudes like seniors juniors. There is a anti ragging concept and our seniors are really helpful to me in my doubts. I will frequently consult them if i get any doubt they will reply me without any regret.
Admission
Based on my EAMCET rank i am offered with some selected branches, from that i had choosed civil engineering. Admission process is generally based on eamcet ranks, so if you get a good rank you have to get a detailed analysis of previous year cut off ranks and check whether you are eligible for admitting in a selected branch.
Faculty
In kitsw every faculty member is from great institution and with a good designation. They teach according to schedules. Some of the faculty members like 1 in 50 are not so particular about the subject but they will give their 90%.
