College Review: A mixed bag of feelings

The course was good enough and I was satisfied with it. We were given a lot of assignments that were to be submitted on time. A mandatory internship was also part of our curriculum and in the final year, we were supposed to submit a dissertation. Marketing management was my favorite subject.

Placements were pretty ordinary in our college but we received enough assistance from the placement cell. Some good companies do visit our campus for the placement drive but the packages offered were not that good. Companies like Tata, Honda, Bosch were some of the popular names which came for the placement process. Though, the placement packages still have a lot of room for improvement.

My annual fee was 95k which is pretty nominal and less than other management colleges. Other expenses were also pretty affordable. In total, I paid around 1.9 lacs for my 2-year program. College is enabling students to fulfill their dreams of higher studies at economical pricing.

Endless conferences and symposiums are organized quite frequently at our University. Different guest lectures delivered by some of the esteemed scholars of the field are also organized. I attended some of these workshops, out of which some were useful for us, while some were not depending upon your area of interest.

The hostel was available for both girls and boys, separately. In general, the hostels are good, with pretty comprehensive facilities being offered here. Washrooms are hygienic and the common room had the option of many recreational activities. I made a lot of beautiful memories here.

The annual alumni meet which is organized for providing a platform for alumni and college students to interact, share experiences and thoughts. The alumni meet during my batch was pretty good and all the alumni tried motivating students especially towards entrepreneurship.

My admission to the MBA program was on a merit basis. No entrance exam is required for admission. Students have to take simply apply to the college and appear for the document verification process. Document verification went smoothly.
