Master's Done Right!

XIMR stood up to mark with the standard of the older Xavier group in terms of academics and the placement offered. The B-School transformed my life and the way I approach a problem. Institute is a perfect amalgamation of academics and extracurricular activities leading to the overall development of the student. I would definitely recommend XIMR among other top B-Schools simply for the campus life and some particular faculty members.

Course Structure is pretty awesome and it was pretty updated as per the latest advancements in the corporate world, specifically the future of tech industry and different job profiles being adopted by corporates to tackle the rapidly changing corporate landscape. Our final evaluation was done on the basis of internal exams, external exams, summer internship report, dissertations, etc.

The final placement of my batch was comparatively better for my batch. A good number of reputed companies visited specifically for the analytics area. The highest package offered was 11 LPA and the average package was around 4 LPA. Summer placement for the internship process is also good with a decent stipend amount.

The annual fee for my MMS program was around 2.6 lacs per annum, which is comparatively less than other B Schools and to be honest, it was one of the reasons why opted for XIMR, despite having a good percentile. In total, I paid around 5.2 lacs for the two-year program.

XIMR has all the required facilities. We have state-of-the-art classrooms equipped with Wi-Fi, projectors, etc., facilities. We have Bloomberg terminals. We have one central mess, and the quality of food is good because the mess is operated by the students only. The social life was also pretty lit. Both the management fests and social fests were fun and filled with infotainment.

Especially, the hostel is awesome. I think our college has the best hostel among all XIMR. Hostel rooms were offered on a single occupancy basis and we never had any issues regarding the accommodation. Hostels are basically allocated on a first come first serve basis. We literally enjoyed every moment of our stays like the late-night study groups and the pranks pulled on our fellow batchmates.

Admission is on the basis of XAT or MAH CET exam scores. I applied with my MAH CET exam scores. XIMR takes part in the common admission process (CAP), which is joint counseling held mostly for the Xavier group of colleges. This round of selection process included a written ability test and a Personal Interview.

Faculty members are good, especially for the finance and operation area. Every concept is taught based on case studies. It's mandatory for professors of every subject to invite industry experts so that we can relate theoretical concepts to practical scenarios. In that way, we get industry exposure.
