I consider this is above average college but they need to focus on industry oriented teaching than conventional ways. Afterall getting job is everyone's dreams and it must be fulfilled by college. Also college should focus on extra curriculum and sports activities.

Our college comes under Shivani University, so all the course structure and exam structure werr based on University's guidelines. As per my view shivaji University's syllabus structure and exams pattern are little bit old but still challenging.

Placement varies department to department still its average and need to be improved. college conducts various activities for placements and many of them are helpful but there is lack of practicals or industry oriented support. Also students need to know what are the responsibilities of different positions in company. And even in same stream there are lot of different work domains that student need to know.

Our college is well known for events and celibrations, its in the city center so many there is always crowd and many events on various occasions. Many students takes part in it. Social events such as traditional day sport events are much more memorable.

Its little bit expensive but there js customized installments for paying the fees. Also many students gets the various scholarship as per government policies. Overall fee structure is fine not much hevy

As a government policies, many students were able to get EBC Scholarship. Also different scholarships as per various criteria such as family income, caste, previous scores were available. I don't have any knowledge of loan facilities by college as I didn't took it.

DKTE college have very minimul open ground for sports as it is in city center. Still there are many other activities and labs were there frequently. Students with both gender have various activities. Mostly there was no noise party as our college comes in silent zone area of the city. There are various cultural and social activities were taken place in our college. Many time student collect funds for some events and many were funded by college.

college conducts general as well as departmental alumni meets on various occasions. That really build our connet stronger which also help us in professional career. DKTE arrange such a alumni meets in college as well as in various cities such as pune where many of alumni works.

I have a passion for machines and mechanics, so I chose Mechanical Engineering and DKTE is well known college for Engineering in kolhapur region. Also the experienced staff and all facilities required for Engineering lavs and practicals are available there. location of this college was also preferable for me Thats why I chose DKTE for my graduation.

There are many PhD holder in faculty member. All the staff members are well experienced and professional in their subjects. Their teaching ways are very straight and simple to understand. There are few faculty members who wrote books in their subjects. Also the way practical sessions was also good, they give all the details to perform the practicals by our own
