Best chapter of my life

Felling proud for being a part of my college. College is surrounded by green tea gardens. There is very good views of mountains from college campus, which everyone loves the most. Weather of Siliguri is always awesome. you can eat momos in all season.

I pursued my B. Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering. The whole curriculum is nicely designed by University. We had to appear for two mid semester exam, Which was designed by college it self. In all semester end we had to appear for final semester exam designed by University. In which we had to appear for Practical as well as theory examinations.

Overall good experience of placement for my college. Company like Intel, Microsoft, Bosch, Cognizant, Airtel, L&T, TCS came to hire students from different departments. Apart from these companies many more company came for campus selection. College doesn't provide any internship.

In very first day of college we had fresher party in which we got introduced from our senior. Later college organized Books fair, Annual Sports, Annual Fest. In mid of college also organised different functions. College regularly host robotics competition, chess competition and many more things.

Fee Structure is designed by University, which is very much feasible for middle class family. We had to pay semester wise fees to college. At the time of admission they provide us a fee structure. According to that fee structure we had to pay per semester.

College doesn't provide any scholarships. But college helped us in taking loan from banks. There is also a bank in college which provide loan to the students. College provide all the supports which is required for taking a education loan.

There is almost same gender ratio in college. College organized Books fair, Annual Sports, Annual Fest. In mid of college also organised different functions. College regularly host robotics competition, chess competition and many more things. College follows zero tolerance against gender, religious and sexual harassments.

College provides hostel for only first year. Which is selective if you want to live in hostel then you can go for it. College doesn't provide hostel in it's campus. It is arround four kilometres away from college from where college provide bus services. All rooms was in shared. It cost same if you choose to live in Pg's.

We had first interaction with senior in fresher party. College have very good connection with alumni on Facebook. College also have a dedicated website for alumni. It's also organise alumni meets up in different cities.

I was selected through WBJEE(West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam). After clearing WBJEE exam they ask to choose the five College of my choice in order of preference. I got my college in first round of counseling. They immediately do the provisional admission after taking ?20000(refundable). Again after some time college called me for detailed addmission which is only one day process.

All the faculty of our college was very helpful. They had very good experience of teaching in there field. When we entered for first day of our college life they welcomed to all. We had introduction with all the faculty.
